Re: Reason 10 $100 Off, This mean Reason 11 by end of April ;)
maybe 10.3 is the performance fix they want to roll out for every user and then shortly after that they release v 11 with more features for a fee

Re: What is the lack of REASON?
I agree with the first reply. I want a way to perform live. I want to play guitar or sing live on stage with reason providing my background music. I want to be able to switch from verse to chorus on the fly. And dont tell me to use windows media player for this cause i want to loop on the outro unti...

Re: Reason Slow Performance - when is optimisation coming?
It's sad, seing that Reason always has been very friendly to the CPU. And funny enough this may be why they waited so long to jump on the VST train. At last the pressure got too high and they included VST, only to find this. ALTHOUGH It feels like reason is eating power in other ways as well nowaday...

I'd wait if it's not too far from now. Does anyone have any idea when this update is coming?

Re: Reason Slow Performance - when is optimisation coming?
I'd like to bump this thread to reach the developers again. I have considered buying a new macbook cause I thought the performance issues i'm having are due to my mac getting old. I pretty much only use it for reason so have no other reference, but reason has become slower that's for sure. I don't k...

Switching blocks with MIDI input
Hey. I wonder if anybody knows a way around this problem. I want to make a song with instruments as layers, looping a 4 bar chord progression. The idea is to have all instruments running in the background and use the faders on my keyboard to fade them in one by one and "build" the track up in a live...

Re: Switching instrument without using mouse or computer keyboard
Additional remote overrides solved it for me! I even found out it was already assigned to two of the buttons by default on my MPK49! Thanks!

Switching instrument without using mouse or computer keyboard
Hi. Does anybody know a decent way of changing instrument "on the fly" while jamming on your midi keyboard? Perhaps assigning one or more of the midi buttons to the instruments. It would be an awesome feature. I know it is possible with the zone method in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...

Regroove on audio slice edit?
I have a track with 60% shuffle from regroove. However, the sample vocals I use are not shuffled, and I want to give them the same or similar groove. What is the best way?

Re: Reason 9: I don't like it
I think Props are gonna reap a lot of users without knowledge of music theory with this one. It's good. (But it also itches a little for people who studied years of music, and now there is a player who creates the scales and chords for you out of nowhere)

crazy that a team from a country with 300 000 inhabitants (and where most of the year, footballs cant even be outside because of the wind) can beat half of Real Madrid.
I watched the game on a big screen in Lisbon, and people were not very happy to say the least xD

Re: Sidechain Compression
Here is a combinator with redrum and multiple spiders I built for sidechaining if anyone wants it. http://www.filedropper.com/sidechainer All is routed. Just put the device in the rack and set notes in C1 where you want to sidechain. Then route the sidechain input on the back of whatever device you ...

Re: What do you look for in a RE synth?
I agree with most things said above. There are already so many RE synths with dull square wave sounds. I want sparkling "high resolution" sounds which tickles my brain. Antidote.

Re: Reason 9 announced on SonicState
"Reason 9 is the most exciting version yet, with major new features" so it's definitely not the release notes we saw last week then xD I don't want to sound spoilt. Pitch editing settings is DOPE. The chord thing too, for noobs.. We already have arpeggio and alligator so im fine with that, but this ...

and by the way. which software do u use and have to use melodyne for stretching? I thought all DAW's had their own feature implemented by now... Melodyne is not really made for that, I think.
