IDM / BASS

Hey guys, another song for feedback

With R9 and chords coming out I'm considering making an album in the similar style as this. Would you listen to an album in this genre?

Re: Player brainstorming ...

When I first heard about players I thought it will be audio / sample players aka harmor and alchemy. oh well, I use ableton for granular.

Re: New to Reason - Sequencer Questions RE: Snap and Filenames

Last comment/question, I'll keep it short and to the point. What do you do, in Reason, when you want to snap a bunch of tracks together whose file lengths don't fit precisely on grid lines ? Do you zoom all the way in to each border and nudge them as close together as you can reasonably estimate? I...

Re: looking for a tutorial for electro swing

From what I'm hearing in this playlist - in your house track replace your synths with sax and piano.

Re: Kick Stagnation

you can use anything as a starting kit for a kick. any sound. playing with decay and then just stacking sound ( parallel compression and stuff) can turn anything into a kick.

Re: CV in Reason, A Four-Part Series (pt. 4 covers Truth RE)

Love the tutorials. It's an interesting topic and it looks like it is completely left out. Seems like there are never been any good full out hints on capabilities of CV tweaking, which is unfortunate. I find even understanding of the concept by itself doesn't lead anywhere. Despite fully understandi...

Re: Tom drum fills?

There is not much difference in toms on a single drum set up except pitch. To create more toms either just pitch them differently or use tom physical model form kong to create your own. To get a rhytm there are tom rex fills in standard library if I'm not mistaken. Transpose loop to the track and ge...

Re: high energy electro but with slow tempo?

Probably the easiest way is to layer some fast 1/8-32 melody. Another way ,if sample allows, take one bar in original bpm then loop pieces within it to to the length of desired bpm and layer some reverb with delay on top of it.

Not bad. For me the biggest discovery in reason world was, and still is, Koan sound.

Re: Interesting levelling method using pink noise?

Useful idea to even your sounds out and have them at the same dynamics at the start. It just I think you don't want it always be at the same level in every part of the song.

Hi guys.

I've finally come up with courage to post some of my stuff here. For most of the part tracks are done in Reason 7, with using some outboard stuff like audacity for extra processing.

Would love to hear any feedback on this one.
