So having a friend playing backing tracks is better, why?ChulaCoola wrote: ↑TodayNo wanna AI. I wanna have fun myself.
That is why I bought Reason to begin with. It is FUN and I get to enjoy it. If you insist in having AI in the DAW, at least give me the option whether to have it installed or not.

Re: Announcing Reason 13
But an automated instrument is better than a Player? No pun intended. If you use a DAW as an instrument, maybe an AI friend can add some backing tracks? I mean, John Lennon is not with us, and neither Jim Morrison, but at least we got an AI friend when we need it. Her.

Re: Logic Pro 11 announced
Was Logic named after Reason, or Reason after Logic? Or a bit of both, some seasoning, and random titles and features, just to stay on top of the curve, like a guitar string can be.

Re: Synapse Audio The Legend HZ has arrived.
I hope Richard implements OSC phase offset this time. The Legend VST has this parameter, The Legend RE has not. Can make a huge difference with bass sounds. Ok, fine, now I have to think again .. EUR 79,00 for the upgrade .. do I really need this? No, of course not. Do I want it that much? .. frist...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
Wait, don't they stop supporting the previous version once a point update is done? Not like ver.12 fixes are gonna come into play down the line once 13 is released? I never understand this question I hear a lot. So you want an update to Reason 12.4 when we've moved past 12.4 and on say 13? New feat...

So, back to the topic, we can assume that there's not a list of bug fixes coming in this new version from 12?

Re: Announcing Reason 13
So I agree with Crimson, but also disagree with his approach, because we don't have Banjo's and Ukilele's lined up for our rack. ;) Your disagreement actually adds to my point :puf_bigsmile: I'm using only REs and no VST plugins, with one exception, being an electric guitar VST (AAS Strum GS-2) bec...

If you love making music, which even a 5 year old can do, then it doesn't matter if you use a broken glass or one that is whole.

Re: Announcing Reason 13
Here's some pepper: we are doing them a favour by requesting new features, which they may not have known or thought about, also using their software because it is what it is, makes no sense, because why buy something you don't want to use? Jumping ship? Already did.

Re: Announcing Reason 13
Art is the proper task of life, and not arguing about which Piano sounds better, but also which Piano does not exist. Requesting new features en masse, won't bring RS to create it. They only do what they can, and want. So I agree with Crimson, but also disagree with his approach, because we don't ha...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
Exactly, but we're speaking about ver. 13 only supposedly.
Maybe it comes in a point update. I'll jump immediately, until Bitwig does the same. Maybe VJ capabilities.

I use Bitwig because it's interesting, not because it should get. After using it, Reason felt so limited and uncreative.

Re: Announcing Reason 13
But I make music in the rack and not the sequencer. How do you explain that: Stack as many filters as you want to narrow your results down - Matthias That seems to me more applicable to the rack than the browser he's referring to - maybe spectral filtering will come into play. I design my own sounds...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
Last bit of salt from me, and it's more a philosophical view. What in this next version will be improved upon in even further future releases? As in, what will be scrapped, like what was scrapped from previous versions? Think it through, they just want our moolah...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
Where's the promo vid? Some companies have them even for point updates. Just saying. I need some skull and bones, some beast smashing tones. Not this avant garde techno electro which doesn't seem to fit my workflow or choice of reality.

Re: Announcing Reason 13
I think my free Reason+ sub is still going past release date, so will give it a shot.
To be frank though, from my view, it's a little bit too little late, but congrats on getting something done at least.
Reaktor and Omnisphere has more features than Reason, lol

Re: Opinions on Bitwig
Bitwig at least is giving you a bang for your buck, whereas if you were a Reason+ user you'd be thinking "oh Reason Studios, where art thou?"
