Lets replace the Line6 wah...
With R9 Line 6 is no more. There was not a huge amount to praise with the basic l6 amps but without a doubt the great thing about the L6 was the wah pedal. An almost perfect recreation of the classic Dunlop Crybaby pedal. We have "Dont cry baby" from the soundbank and a multiwah from jfrichards but ...

Great image there, explains the process well! Good job.

Re: Recommend a small audio interface
I would go for the scarlett but if you intend to record guitars then i would spend just a little more for the 2i4 because the 2i2 instrument inputs are often too hot for guitars with humbucker pickups where the 2i4 has a pad switch to deal with this. It also has MIDI IO and is buss powered.

Re: Reason 9: Scalable Rack? I don't think so :(
I think we all know that it would be better if it worked natively. But it's not a deal breaker at the moment because both os have an option or options to pretty much achieve the desired result and there is more important stuff to worry about. Like pdc for instance.

Re: Reason 9: Scalable Rack? I don't think so :(
Edit: I 7-Zip'd a screenshot with Firefox, Excell and Reason. Look at its Actual Size to see how bad Reason looks compared to other apps on a high DPI screen. Perhaps its just me but what is the problem here? ;) Maybe my old eyes are knackered, maybe I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve, but...

Re: Brand new PC (Core i7 4Ghz) with Focusrite Scarlett 6i6: Too slow!?
No Cubase gets similar behaviour and it's even worse in Pro Tools. It also does not seem to matter which audio interface you are using.

Re: Brand new PC (Core i7 4Ghz) with Focusrite Scarlett 6i6: Too slow!?
OP, please can you do me a favor and set cpu cap to 80% and then play your song and just see what happens to the dsp meter. Does it appear settled and then spikes? When you get the message press stop to reset then press play again does it spike in the same place in the song or is it random? Make sur...

Re: Reason 9: Scalable Rack? I don't think so :(
Windows 10 has a screen scaling slider under graphics properties. It works perfectly with reason. I use it on the surface pro 4 all the time to zoom into the rack and twiddle the knobs with my finger. Erm.... I can also zoom all the way out and get loads of screen real estate although then things be...

Re: Duplicate Marshall Stack Drive Sound? (guitarists!)
I have heard a few people say that about the DC-1, I have been running A/B testing with all sorts of Distortion plug-ins within reason and I very nearly settled on Scream in the end but I just think the DC-1 sounds the most "guitary" with a lot less muted background noise and a lot less of the faffi...

Re: Duplicate Marshall Stack Drive Sound? (guitarists!)
I thought I would show you what stack I am currently using if you are interested. I find this really flexible for a live sound. Its mostly made from shop bought RE's and its controlled through a L6 FBV Shortboard MkII. http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj164/Lt_Red/stack16_zpsklykei0u.jpg It goes: ...

Re: Can't rewire Reason 6.5.3 with Cubase 7.0.7
There's a setting in Cubase device setup called release driver when in background or something along those lines. Make sure it's switched off before trying to launch Reason.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4
Hello, Does anyone use the Surface Pro 4 with Reason? Can I ask how you are getting on? Also, can I ask, 1. What spec unit you have, 2. If you are using an audio interface or internal SC with ASIO4ALL, 3. If you are using a powered USB hub and what other devices you have plugged in, 4. If, at low or...

Re: Why I use Reason (unless I really have to use something else) ...
Hello ReasonTalk - First post.... here goes.... When Reason V1.0 was born, I was lucky enough to be working for a well-respected music technology magazine here in the UK. I was party to one of the first press builds of the software and spent many a long night learning the ropes before its release. A...
