Re: Reason 10 Rumors
Good lord please don't let there be VST support. That's one of the main reasons I use Reason in the first place. Besides the crashes, 32 and 64 nightmare, various copy protection schemes and VST's that i relied upon suddenly becoming obsolete meaning there is no song recall.... Happy to leave that a...

Re: Reds Reason Live Guitar Rack
No Line 6 amps, its was built with Reason 9. For the RRLGR to work as intended you will require the following Rack Extensions; 1. Selig Gain – This provides gain input and output monitoring and control for each Combinator stage. 2. Aftermath Audio CV8x4 CV Generator – This provides CV across the dev...

Reds Reason Live Guitar Rack
Hello! RRLGR has been upgraded to Version 2.0 with the release of Reason 9.5 and now uses Scuffham S-gear 2 in place of the Kuassa Amps. Also completed a major rework of the internal effects parameters. I have spent a lot of time on this through the beta and its better than ever - happy days. Change...

Re: If you only had one midi controller...
If I had to choose only one it would be the line6 fbv shortboard mk2. Being a guitarist I can't loose the footswitches and rocker pedal.
I have a nektar p4 too and its great but I use the shortboard more.

Re: Rack and Mixer in one window?
My solution to this was to buy another monitor....
Rack left sequencer middle mixer right.
Let's hope props give us more flexibility in future.

Re: Kuassa Efektor DS3603 FZ3603 OD3603 in the Shop!!!
Coming from a beta tester I would say that given the variety of drives available in these devices that there is really not a lot that you could'nt emulate with these three, given the right settings... I was offered these for free after beta testing but I bought them anyway - they are that good. I'm ...

More specifically, go to www.propellerheads.se, click on the little man in the top right, log in, click on the little man again, click on products in the drop down menu, click on the Rack Extensions Tab on the mid-left and then click Sync All. Wait a bit... wait a bit... done. Start Reason.

Re: Why PH not allow resale of RE
Theres a couple of things I have taken from this thread. 1. We have established that the user base is relatively small compared to VST etc. 2. If I wanted to buy, lets say, Antidote, I would first look at the second hand market and snap it up from there. Sure the props could give a small percentage ...

Re: Need external soundcard to catch sound from many DAWs and send it to 1 DAW, all on same PC
It sounds to me what you need is a soundcard solution that offers "true" multi-client ASIO driver. These allow you to run seperate DAW's and utilise the same ASIO driver, and yes you can choose which channel each DAW will output to and which channel your final DAW will record onto. Have a look at th...

Re: Do you use the 14:2 mixer?
I use it as a permanent patchbay in my default template to the hardware outputs so I can quickly direct out any channel strip to external hardware or other software for processing, and have independent control of the level in and out. I sandwich it between two Selig Gains to monitor in and out level...

Re: Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2nd gen & Reason 9 - 24 or 16bit recording?
That'll be the MME driver settings.. those which are native to windows. The ASIO driver I belive is locked to 24bit. Using the MME driver will offer horrible latencies.

Re: Rookie lost
Jappe probably has it, check by clicking on a midi part until you can see the notes in the editor and see if they are doubled up i.e. there are two notes in the same lane at the same time.

Re: Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 2nd Gen
Oh and by the way the fast Track Pro driver you are using is a bit flaky in W10 which is why your are getting the BSOD. M-audio sold out the fast Track Range to Avid and have not really been properly supporting it in W10 :( But at least its working - my old Fast Track Ultra just doesn't work at all ...

Re: Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 2nd Gen
Should be version 4.11. To be honest the whole release has been a bit of a balls up for focusrite. The release driver didn't work properly, the fix then broke compatibility with the software they were giving away with it, and the resulting mess has left an almost unfathomable minefield of informatio...

Always dither unless you are exporting as 24bit plus whatever samplerate you are using at the time.

The scarlett control panel does not give the option to change bitrate. It didn't in first gen either. I think it's fixed at 24bit.

Hi Mark.
Are you on Mac or PC? Have you downloaded the latest drivers from FR website? There was an issue with the 2nd Gen driver on release with crackles. The latest driver moves to fix that.
Cheers

I bought a BFP last week. It is fantastic. I went from a Scarlett 18i8 to the BFP and the sound quality difference was astounding. I read that the sound quality would be good, but listening back to the 18i8 its like listening through a plasterboard wall. BFP has a true multi-client audio driver and ...
