Tutorial: Beautiful Pluck Synth!
And BTW, +1 to everything Sinistereo says, he stated it better than I was able to do! And with that comment, I feel better today than I did when a (rather famous) neurology attending told me "hmph. I guess that's a passable explanation." Guess I have more respect for Giles! :) I also want to see yo...

Hm. In my opinion the incorrect information in the video is the wrong setup of Haas effect. Actually I don't really know, if that was Avensas intention but I highly presume this. In her video, she is telling nothing about the reason why she dips the volume but it is basically correct setting since ...

You have nothing to get defensive about here, just PLEASE listen to what we are saying to try to help you! You asked "what am I doing wrong", and all I can say is that we are trying to tell you - but you don't seem to be listening. IMO, it would be a shame if you left with these errors in your tuto...

Good catch, I totally missed that the first time around - he probably forgot to adjust the dry/wet control there. :) Hmmmm.... Oh would you look at that, made by Propellerheads themselves. Also, would be nice if you referred to me as 'she'. Mattias' video is an excellent example! In your video, the...

None of this explains the purpose of the DDL-1, which is only adding 19ms of latency to the signal. Both channels are delayed by the same amount...

I love that you have a passion for this, and are taking the time to make tutorial videos. The Reason community could really benefit from more videos! I also encourage you to take the time to learn more about audio theory and sound design from established players. You are young and full of talent (bu...

Has Sean Carter just blown $56 million ?
I'm reminded of thousand dollar audiophile CD pens... or ten thousand dollar audiophile Ethernet cables... or Sony's hundred dollar audiophile "low noise" SD cards.
The common element seems to be that some sucker is buying this crap.

I really appreciate that you're making tutorials, and would love to see more. I still don't understand why you are splitting and immediately recombining the Subtractor signal. This is making a monophonic signal... twice as monophonic.

I'm curious. Why are you splitting your audio signal then immediately recombining it in the mixer?

61 keys is the sweet spot for me. The extra octave gives more flexibility over 49 keys without the space and cost of the full 88.

Industrial/Electronic cover of "Dead Religion" (My first song...)
My very first time using Reason for something other than documentary audio production. It has been an incredibly entertaining and educational couple of days. So much left to learn about (and experiment with) vocal recording. I would love feedback on any part of this. I had problems finding a sonical...

Do you think we over-reacted?
I think a lot of people over reacted R8 did not break anything except maybe patch browsing, but in every other aspect the browser is 1000 times better. To me R8 was a step forward although not as big of a step as previous versions, but still big enough that I would never go back. R8 completely dest...

Haas Mixer in the shop
My poor man's haas effect is to take a DDL with delay times of 8-15ms and pan a little to one side, then pan the dry signal a little the other way. I'm sure this works, but the effect will be less pronounced. Our brains have a really cool circuit that compares phase differences between signals rece...

Haas Mixer in the shop
I've tried to do Haas panning using stock devices, but can't get past the barrier of not being able to do any kind of math, range shunting, or logical comparison with CV using Thor. If you can implement this using a DDL-1 and a mixer, I would honestly love to know how. Haas panning (which uses only ...

Imitone as an RE maybe?
I backed Imitone on Kickstarter and have been using it for over a year. Since then, it has evolved significantly. It is a standalone program that works through a virtual MIDI driver, so it's seen by Reason (or any other DAW) as a MIDI controller. The evolutionary bit that makes Imitone stand apart f...
