What about exporting REX files to use outside of Reason? Namely, some of the factory loops? Is it possible to load, edit, and then export a REX file in the Factory Sound Banks? It sounds like I'd be better off spending the $110 on the Reason upgrade than $60 for a second hand copy of ReCycle, at le...

Contemplating to sell my copy of Recycle. I never used it. I thought I would. But frankly I'm not someone who really samples and make rex libraries. I'm up to it.
But Maybe it's an idea to leave the RE alone as much as possible.
And if there's some sort of song stucture you can always add effect RE or replace some stock sounds for the instrument RE.

Or is this a bad idea?

You could buy a big desk at Ikea and also a shelf. Ikea also sells legs in al kind of heights you can screw underneath it. That way you can set everything up at the right height at low costs.

Are people 'recording their own' instruments for tracks? I've read the rules 10 times to see if I'm missing something but basically we can't use 'any' other synth for pads or use sampled pianos (nnxt). I know this is the case but I just don't want to believe it as it means I'm out as I don't own a ...
