Re: When did Nostromo become $25?
When I made the two bundles a year or two ago, I set all my everyday prices to the lowest sale price I had ever done for each item and left them there. I don't participate in the sales anymore, just keep sale prices forever.

Re: CV Player Tap, free from Lectric Panda
Yea, the CV Tap was really only designed to be used like this because there is no control over the channel allocation. The purpose to copy one MIDI player stream to another player channel. Anything that merges CV is going to cause you to lose your note-off information. Screen Shot 2018-05-14 at 8.18...

Re: Are DAWs outputting a digital signal or analog?
If you have something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Douk-Audio-Converter-Interface-PCM192Khz/dp/B085XPRSGM It is going to show up as a new soundcard device on your computer. If you select this soundcard device as the output for your DAW software, the digital audio is going to be pumped out on th...

Re: Offline authorization will be discontinued for R11 and earlier - This is serious
But for people like myself, who aren’t too worried about going along with the online authorizations, will they implement a replacement for Codemeter for old versions (older than v11)? Or are those old versions going to forever ask for Codemeter, which will be forever gone? Codemeter is for offline ...

Re: Offline authorization will be discontinued for R11 and earlier - This is serious
Just went though the whole process to make sure my ignition key was still working. Got R11 + rack extensions running on fresh install of zero-network windows 10. Ignition key still working after being in a drawer for 5+ years. How do you went about the Rack Extensions? Did you just copy them over f...

Re: Offline authorization will be discontinued for R11 and earlier - This is serious
Occasionally Reason 10 also asks to re-sync licences (rewrite licences )although nothing has changed ,and nothing was purchased. Does this mean the connection to the server that re-syncs the licences will no longer function??? I don't have any proof, just anecdotal observation, but I really think t...

Re: Intermediate compilation of third party libraries
You would have to get the library author the Rack Extension SDK and compiler, and have them build those Reason specific intermediate object/bytecode files. Once you had those, you would need to modify your builder to link them in without actually compiling them. Might be possible, but you are going ...

Re: RRP limitations
And it feels kinda weird to me when some Reasonstudios own devices have a kindof lackluster remote implementation (Umpf anyone?) while Re devs put so much effort into it even though it might not be the most profitable time investment (only a guess). Praises to any dev who does that. I think there a...

Re: RRP limitations
Mmm, I am not really sure which parameters you are referring to. As far as I know Bitwig shows all parameters. At least I remember than when I did the remote map for my Akai mpk mk3, all the parameters I found, I now find them in bitwig (except that creating the map is much much much easier as I do...

Re: RRP limitations
Last time i checked (with Bitwig i think) RRP only exposed a fraction of device parameters to the DAW for remote controlling than Reason does. I digged a bit deeper and it looked like it only exposes parameters that have a Midi CC associated to it in the Midi Implementation. Has that changed? I'm u...

Re: Bitwig "Crossgrade" for $206
You won't be disappointed, bitwig is an everyday pleasure really. The capacity to program your shortcuts, the way it handles your midi controllers, the voice stacking,... I loved it yesterday when I was in the middle of a mixing and mastering session, my izotope plugin crashed and bitwig was unaffe...

Re: Reason talk for ever!
If I had my dream Reason version (and I do) and I owned it. I then took that computer off line for ever, Would Reason work until the computer itself failed? Asking for a friend I've had reason 11.3.6 on an authorized PC without any network access for well over a year without any issues. I did a cle...

Re: Reason Financials 2021
I fell like R11 was really the version that packed in everything I ever wanted. Nothing in R12 for me personally. Then that upgrade price.. So along comes Bitwig with a free lite version, I try it and fall for it hard. It's a whole new world. then they send the offer to upgrade to full for l...

Re: Way to get more volume out of simple sine wave
Hey there, So I'm actually using Reason for a work project where I have a super simple sine wave "boop boop" quick pulse as a "ring in" sound. Problem is....whenever we play them through the computer speakers it is too low of a volume relative to every other sound that is played. Problem is I have ...

Re: Bitwig with reason rack
The only real gripe i have with this Bitwig/RRP combo is that i get looooong loading times for the RRP (getting "Plugin does not respond" when loading a song). I mentioned it to Bitwig's support but they said it's probably a problem with the RRP. I guess they're right, certainly linked to online au...

Re: Bitwig with reason rack
I have to say that as impressive as Bitwig is (I have bought and sold it several times now!) I just can't gel with it. It is hard to put my finger on but it is essentially the behaviours. The platform is incredibly powerful and very modern however in other ways it is clunky as heck. I have been on ...

Re: Bitwig with reason rack
The problem is that RRP does not expose everything to Bitwig. Maybe this changes with VST3. Actually I am a bit discovering the limit of RRP :-( Or maybe it is me not understanding. First the UI is not anymore in high def. When I compare my rack in bitwig and in reason, it seems that in reason the ...

What possibilities are you referring to? I've been using Bitwig with RRP v11 for the past 6 months and absolutely love it. When I started it felt like I was melting my mind with all the possibilities. It still feels like that. 1) It has "the grid', which is this modular like environment where you c...
