Windows has become awful and I don't miss gaming builds. I'm real happy with the M1 Mac mini with its silent operation and I greatly prefer macOS for all things.

Three ways. The worst is "virtual audio' cables. Better is using two audio interfaces with balanced cables so OBS takes a full DAW signal out of one of the interfaces. But I believe the best way of doing this would be to buy one of the newer interfaces that has "loopback".

The results I get from Logic's stock plug-ins are as good or better than anything else. Like most folks I stopped using Waves products due to the licensing and updating hassle.

Plug-ins are worth about $20, and that includes everything made by Softube. Knowledge with stock plug-ins is all you need for amazing results so most plug-ins are both overpriced and totally unnecessary. This makes even $20 seem expensive.
