I think by implementing VST, Props is like: "told you so", because of the ease of workflow that is the rack extension format. It's super easy, and there is no messing around with installing. It all syncs neatly. But I suppose that's not something a lot of people care about.

There are a few patches (not so many) that need an external RE (for example in "Bass - another expanse growl (KHS RESONATOR).Scratchnsnifff" you need the kHs Resonator RE). But when this is the case, the title of the patch should mention this.
