Re: To RE developers. What's your own favorite RE that you've made?
Well if you're asking... :D I'm extremely proud of the technical challenges I overcame as well as the unique capabilities and power of Delta MIDI Computer. Easily my most ambitious device yet, and for the foreseeable future as well. It took a long time, but eventually everything came together in a p...

Re: Chord player amidst note playing behaviour
Couldn't a player retrig the notes while reading for the sustained on message? I see all players behave like this now that I 've tried. Except Euclid rythmn... it seemss to work No, unfortunately that's just not MIDI events are handled, its a packaged deal. There's Note ON (a note number and a velo...

Re: Static Cling - AutoLatch MIDI Gate (Intro Sale!)
There's a small update out now, fixing some minor text rendering issues on Mac and improving the clarity on the shortcuts. Thanks to @joeyluck for reporting! Changelog 1.0.1: Fix for text being partially cutoff for Count and certain Latch modes on Mac Updated shortcuts on back of device to be multi-OS

Re: Chord player amidst note playing behaviour
This is a side effect of how MIDI works, its based on On and Off messages with specific notes. You can't change a note mid run, it would have to stop the old note and trigger a new one, which comes with a whole host of implications, so instead they maintain the sustain until the next time you trigge...

Re: PMS-20 Analog Filter. Is it worth getting?
I'm a huge fan of PMS-20, really love the character it imparts through saturation, always love the way it sounds. The filtering itself sounds excellent as well.

Re: Static Cling - AutoLatch MIDI Gate (Intro Sale!)
I like it as well! A small improvement for me would be with the automation lane, especially of the manual sequence index. In the current version the values 0, 7, 13, 20, 27, 33 .. until 100 representing step 1-16. If it's possible it would be nice to see 1-16 instead 0-100 in 16 intervals. Glad you...

Re: Static Cling - AutoLatch MIDI Gate (Intro Sale!)
I had a lot of fun playing with this today :) A couple features which I think might be cool and useful: - A velocity latch button mode. When this mode is selected and triggered, the velocity value would define the gate length. I understand this can be tricky, because then the user might want to set...

Re: Static Cling - AutoLatch MIDI Gate (Intro Sale!)
my favourite thing to do today has been to consistently forget which note i have latched open I used the glow around the Latch Buttons to hopefully help with this exact issue, but I admit it can still get pretty confusing. Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any suggestions on anything the de...

Re: Static Cling - AutoLatch MIDI Gate (Intro Sale!)
This will come in handy  Just a heads up that on mac, it is Command + Click and Command + Shift + Click for copying and pasting these settings, rather than Ctrl. Glad to hear it looks useful to you! Yes that was a bit intentional in an attempt to save a bit of space, but if its a source ...

Re: Idea; ReTracker! Or maybe TrackRe?
Perhaps a dumb question as I am not super familiar with tracker workflows, but based off your description is this all that different from Sequences or Kompulsion (which you admittedly just mentioned)? Is it the multiple instruments for a single pattern that makes it stand out? Always interested in h...

Sure I can probably do that. What sort of applications are you needing sub 10ms delays for if you don't mind me asking?diminished wrote: ↑27 Feb 2020Just one request, could you allow delay times shorter than 10ms please?

Re: MORE generative RE’s/Players, not less, please!!!
Have you ever considered having a 'quick edit' view? Where you had, say, 4 or 5 selectable node edit modules on the screen at once, sort of Eurorack style, rather than one node edit module and the map. You would then have a rather nice device interface where you could easily control the most import...

Re: MORE generative RE’s/Players, not less, please!!!
Perhaps you're aware, but if you're looking for generative Players and already appreciate the modular mindset then you should definitely take a look at my device Delta MIDI Computer. Its a Node based approach to modifying MIDI that is extremely open ended and capable of a huge range of generative pr...

Re: Delta MIDI Computer (January 17: 1.3 is out now! New Node!)
Not sure if it's possible, but it would be cool if Delta could be sensitive to where in the measure a note fell. Maybe whichever sixteenth note each note falls closest to relative to the master clock. For example, transpose the "1" of every bar down an octave. Or to make the sixteenth note offbeats...

Delta MIDI Computer can do this precisely, but specifically within the context of the various randomized MIDI processing it can do. Not sure what sort of seeded randomized things you need, but its a generative powerhouse if that's what you're looking for! Full disclosure I'm the developer of this de...

Re: Delta MIDI Computer (1.2 is out now! Black Friday Sale!)
Maybe it would be interesting that the notes getting mirrored stay in the same octave, like having a mirror at the same position in every octave on the keyboard. Do you think it is possible to create a note like this? While I could certainly recreate that functionality in a Node, I am a bit wary of...
