Re: An update on copyright...
Thanks Lukas for clarifying Propellerheads stance, and outlining that some products recently withdrawn from the shop weren't withdrawn by Propellerheads themselves and further, that owners of those products will continue to have download access to those particular products. Does this then mean that...

Re: An update on copyright...
That's how things work. It's up to Softphonics to go into hiding/hope that claims don't come. If they haven't already, although I assume Props would have been informed as well. Looks like he pulled everything to prevent future damage.

Look at the top of the text, there should be clues there. Cryptic, but not encrypted. For patches at least - banks I'm not sure.

Yeah open in a text editor and you'll likely find some clues - I just checked with various patches.

Re: Softphonics are done???!!
I made a comment agreeing with Avosoft I can't find now I read it, thought you deleted it yourself... Strange. I take this with a grain of salt. We are all copying. Sampling or resampling, does it really matter that much? People can take samples and photos but we cannot resample or make a photo of ...

Re: Softphonics are done???!!
RT (joeyluck) – When creating an orchestral Refill, what is your recording process? Andrew – Great question. The type of instrument I am deciding to turn into a Refill can depend on what jobs I have coming up in the real world. For example, the recordings for Encore were done a year ago between Mar...

Sad news and sadly not the first RE dev to pass away - but his spirit will live on in people's racks, that's a nice thought.

Re: Softphonics are done???!!
I'm surprised some of Softphonics' refills are still in the store, and on sale. You'd think Propellerheads would want to keep maximum distance from Softphonics immediately, regardless of this handfull of refills that might be clean.

There were always weird vibes from Softphonics, I think we all felt that. The scope of this is pretty damn amazing though.

It's awesome
One little point of criticism though: the pitch knobs don't snap nicely to semitones. That'll make OCD people uncomfortable.

Excellent groove and vibes, but that saw synth melody feels out of place, soundwise. It's very cheap synthy sounding whereas the track has a more organic atmosphere. The contrast doesn't sit well with me.

Turn the LFO off by setting Fmod to zero. Connect an external LFO to the Freq knob or automate it.
You lose the weird stereo effect that the internal modulation has, but... Who likes that characteristic of the PH-90 anyway

Sounds beautiful and unique!
About the GUI - meh, most Kontakt stuff looks worse to me, at least this is simple and usable. Could definitely be prettier though, with nicer knobs and text. Looks a bit Beta now.
But that sound - awesome!

2) Use Thor, it has a more realistic white noise generator IMO. Remember, all digital white noise is synthesized and not typically true random noise. Thor's noise osc is awesome, it's so versatile. You can create really interesting noise by mixing and matching noise types, e.g. adding some light cr...
