Thats great tibah. Thanks for taking the time. 64bit VST seems to be fine then? Im only going to spend a couple of Euros anyway just to get Lounge Lizard for free so it’s not the end of the world if it doesn’t work :).
VST2 and 64bit for Reason.

Re: Help! Buying VSTs. I don’t understand.

Companies test their plug-ins in different DAWs to make sure they will run. It could be simply name dropping as well, so customers feel more save seeing their DAW in the list. Don't be scared if you see Reason not listed! VST is a standard. Sure, they always might be issues with certain VSTs, in cer...

Ah yea. Answering the question. Haha!

Pink Noise is great for tonal / frequency balance. Not loudness. Hurray!

Re: Question: Pink Noise usage during Mix Engineering

Pink noise is helpful, because of how it fills the spectrum / can be used for reference. A lot of AI mixing helpers (iZotope / Toneboosters / Whoknows) use it as well. I guess you already given yourself an answer too, so as long as you're good with that method - go on! ;) Only if you feel you're nai...

Re: [Electronica | Acoustic] Never Maybe

Top quality sound! Sounds like it'd fit an arty indie game soundtrack. For me, there's something slightly off about the ambient background noise, like it's slightly too noticeable. Love those strings. Cheers for the kind words! I admit, I usually like the background hiss a little less subtle. ;)

Re: [Electronica | Acoustic] Never Maybe

I love both cello and viola for their mellow character and they do overlap in a certain range. The "fun fact" about the viola is that it's a weird size anyway - it's played like a violin, but in terms of size there are no the strict rules and you probably could build a viola that also is steady like...

Is the new toy a cello? :D
Cheers aeox!

The lead here is a viola. But some cellos do a bit of a bed in the background. :)

Re: Output Arcade is my favorite plugin right now.

Seems to be a trend to move away from Kontakt for some companies. Spitfire Audio also delivers some stuff now in their own plug-in. I love Output for their sound, but it was a huge mess to deal with it in the past. Arcade seems interesting. Not sure I want subscription, but 100 days seems to be enou...

What did you use for the violin / cello it sounds great?
I use a mix of Chris Hein Solo Viola and Tina Guo Acoustic Cello Legato for my solo strings. Both run in the free Kontakt Player. :)

Re: House Music Ideas

The secret to house music is to be as creative as you can be in the same framework that has been around for decades now. It's not a secret to be able to reproduce a certain amount of bars for an intro, little breaks, mid energy, break, climax etc. It's about what YOU do in this set of "rules". Be cr...
