Re: Recycle 3.0 when?
This is a QOL issue that absolutely needs to be fixed, as many users have years and years of REX library files that they can’t properly import into Mimic without going through workflow killing workarounds. I really hope Reason Studios is reading this thread. Why isn't Rex import in the RE sdk? Just...

Re: Recycle 3.0 when?
It would be great if mimic could import and export rex files. That would make it a truly creative sampler. YES! I cannot wrap my head around the fact that the company that INVENTED the REX file format would then go on to create a sampler that CANNOT read/import/export REX files! WHAT THE??!! I forg...

Re: New Pricing for Reason 12 - Upgrades now 199 from 129
The frequency of annoyance is already worrying here, amazing that no one from RS notices this. Unless much more is released, the future will be difficult for new sales records. -new browser search -hi-res -VST 3 That's all things with standard character today. It's much effort, of course, but it's ...

Re: New Pricing for Reason 12 - Upgrades now 199 from 129
Well I got into the R12 update when it was cheap several months ago. I expected from Sequencer improvements, R11 had a couple, but none that a serious daily user would request. I mean for fuck's sake, some track folders or just some other markers besides L and R in the sequencer would go a long way....

Re: Remote maps and Combi 2
You should also look inside the nanocontrol lua file and see that there are a bunch of extra slider, knob and button items defined. Perhaps those are shift-controls somehow? But you should be able to add those in. So use a text editor with whitespace shown, it's tab delineated. Go into the remotemap...

Re: Combinator 2 and remote maps (hardware fun)
... Without doing that, we'd have to decide if we wanted to make ours layouts visual-friendly or technical-friendly. Re: Combinator 2 and remote maps (hardware fun)
I made a post earlier today in another thread about some of the same issues mentioned in this thread. I looked into the Remote Info for the new combi the second I could. It's the most important device in the rack and they've -- again -- not included the TextOutput for the labels! Also the knob/butt...

Re: The Further Combinator Suggestions
I mentioned this in the Reason Studios beta test forum, and I've mentioned it on a facebook thread on one of the Reason groups. There is only one feature missing from the new (and yes, the old too) that I care about with any passion. There is no Remoteable for the labels. Load up a combinator, go to...

Re: Aggregate Music System 1.0.0 - on Sale now!
The little vid that challism posted is an excellent demonstration of what mashing the random button on a very complex player can do, i.e. it creates a more-or-less haphazard bunch of notes & beats. Musically, I don't particularly like it or dislike it But what it's NOT is a demonstration of how AMS...

Re: Aggregate Music System 1.0.0 - on Sale now!
I prefer the results that come with understanding this thing (nice patch catblack), as contrast to the chaos that ensues hitting the global random button(and that's coming from a randomizing maniac). One thing I like about this player, is that once you find a simple phrase you like, there are count...

Re: Aggregate Music System 1.0.0 - on Sale now!
This player gets very deep once you dig into it. One key thing that's easy to miss at first glance is at the bottom of page 6 in the manual: An Event type of duration is drawn darker in the center, making it appear like a ring around the numeric value. A Rate type of duration is drawn with a filled ...
