Re: What's Happened To the ReGroove Mixer?
For some reason they have made the ReGroove mixer flat but the new hi-res SSL mixer graphics are still skeuomorphic. Reason now has an inconsistent design language.... I like the new design, more in line with the whole sequencer. For me it is more consistent now. The sequencer flat design and all t...

Will buy it just because of the submarine, that dives deeper and and deeper and deeper.... Your new GUI's are so much more inviting... nice job!
Maybe a new GUI also for Mars Peaks will help me to use it again, actually the GUI scares me to much I allways loose the focus.

Re: Does Reason need to join the party and get its own controller?
All they have to do is employ someone to make high quality maps for third party controllers. That's much cheaper and less risky than designing and manufacturing your own hardware. Also make them easier to share. A repository of maps with an easy installation system. That way you could try several d...

Free Template/Backdrops - "All SEND EFX as Combinator"
Hi Reason Community I have established the following workflow, so that I don't have to worry about the wiring of the send effects, getting crazy. And I would like to share the idea with the necessary files in the community. Actually, it's simple but it works very effectively for me. Every Send Effec...

Re: Enveloper Reasonistas SideChain ReAction
:o Hi Loque how do I enable the CPU Monitor in Reason? I think its in the Options menu... A littel late, but thanks for your feedback, I found it! But now I am also aware that Reasonistas SideChain ReAction really is a CPU eater, it often is apart with diva on my workstation. I really like to sidec...

Re: Channel EQ (Reason classic) HPF adding gain?
I'm like you in this regard ("it's good if it sounds good") but you also have people like @friday above whose world seem to have now shattered and he's lost after learning there's slight volume boost using HPF ;) So I guess it's a spectrum, :) You are right, I am an over analytical person. [Edit] So the SSL HP is a 18dB filter? YES - CHECKED THE MANUAL - HP 18 / LP 12 GQ7 is my go to HP Filter, but now I don't know how to interpret that +4dB for my future workflow? Do I get bether results with fabfilter (not the phase linear mode, some engineers told me that it has some kind of ringin...

Re: Which CPU would you chose?
As I can remember it right, in earlier days there was a issue with the FPU and AMD CPU's, and Reason seems to use the FPU a lot?
Something like that the AMD CPU's did not have one FPU per core and thus fewer FPU than the Intel CPU's .
Is this argument no longer relevant today?

Sample End for NN-XT Nano (in Kong)
I've tried and tested a lot and I'm pretty sure that Decay and Length in Kong and Redrum always refer to the end of the sample (Redrum seems to have a faster curve). Unfortunately, this is usually not enough for me to shorten long kicks so that they sit in the mix. My solution was to shorten the sam...

Re: How to get more precision on Reasons Mixer Board Slider
A good advice I took home from my visit at https://mixmastering.de is to increase and decrease channel volumes in Steps of 1 / 3 / 6dB and then adjust in between of this ranges in 0.5dB steps. In the last detail tasks you maybe have to adjust something in the range of 0.2db. But these days I am pret...

I like and use the FET on BUSes, I own a lot of compressor, also UAD. My actually go to are UAD API 2500, UAD LA-2A, Softube FET, Reason Studio SSL Bus Comp, McDSP FRG-4RE, M-Class for clean digital Sidechain. This update is so fu** nice. Thanks so much. And your visual solution for that setting is so sim...
