Q's: Registering as Developer
Yes, earlier I thought one had to have a business, missed out on the signs * I was about to register this week but after writing, I noticed that all of it was not present in the new site. A few vital final parts are missing. This means that as for now, none can register. I did send an email few da...

Softube Guitar Amp RE
I guess Vermilion and other stock devices (plus Softube amp) will cover all my needs. Just have to add a wah wah too. With bass I tried Kaussa´s Cereb...and I liked it a lot. And Softubes too...and even Line 6 is very useful (and the only one I will miss of those two). But I will wait and also try ...

Good question...well, some governing must be there, in this phase I guess it´s ok, but 7 billion people...that is another story.

Becoming a potential RE developer
One do not have to be a company unless selling in the shop (which is logical) and one can be alone, but you do need a website which also will become some form of developer ID: "All Rack Extensions have a unique ID starting with the reverse domain of the developer company. The reverse domain for Prop...

Becoming a potential RE developer
How I wish I had some inside look into the RE world, as to decide if I can learn to make something out of it, to get the chance to try out working with the tools for the RE developers. I have not got a company, but I want to try out and learn, but to do that I need to see and try out the tools wh...

One thing I can think of that is being very usable with these snippets of musical ideas is for video productions. You make a video, and need some free music stuff to use here and there. As for now, I understand any video producer could use any of these musical clips without even telling it, and eve...

Softube Transient Shaper and Mutator: RE versions around the corner?
Kong Transient shaper is ok but more lighter version than the DCAM EnvShaper. While the DCAM works just fine with most percussion, it seems that Softube is even more versatile beyond drums, a deluxe one. Really hope they are planning to bring it into Reason very soon. So, yes there is indeed room...

For the next major Reason 9 update how likely is...
Yes, a better organisation with folding and an overall better integration between the 3 sections in Reason, but I would expect that before version 9, as version 8 was said to be all about the workflow.
Version 9 would have to be a new leap, not just another little step that should have been in R8.

Softube Transient Shaper and Mutator: RE versions around the corner?
The Transient Shaher looks quite sophisticated. Would love to try it out. Until then, FXpansion will work, at least for drums.

Discover and Soundtrap - same but different?
It´s funny how these promo-videos makes it look as if the sounds magically sits in a perfect mix almost by itself, mastered and ready for Spotify! No fighting frequencies, no troubles to solve, just pure joy capturing in a lovely urban workflow, turning coal into diamonds, on the way from the subwa...

As I See The Best Collaboration
"Drop to prop" is a nice thing for being a beta, but it still needs a lot more development. As long as they will also improve and come with fair deals with Reason, I do not mind the apps and the sharing community development. They must integrate these things in some way, as there´s a lot of talk and...

Just came across another Stockholm-based collaboration service. A coincidence? Is this kind of online music making the future? What do you think? Anyone get a deja vu? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xheoUkbyhE4 https://www.soundtrap.com https://www.soundtrap.com/explore https://www.facebook.com/sou...

Ryan, if it is you who makes video for Propellerheads, I must say they are so very well made! Enjoy watching them. Copyright...well, that issue do not have to stop us from collaborating. But, it do reveal some age old questions that may have caused a lot of conflicts in bands through the years. I...

What the... Avid's Pro Tools 12 has "cloud collaboration" too...?
ProTools is a "pro" application, just as Avid video production. They are Pro standard, so they do things that those have most use for, as well as the serious hobbyist enthusiasts that are aspiring to be on a pro level. That do not mean you become pro by using it or even that you make any good music ...

Discover?
I think that the Discover-function should better be a closed thing, not open to see/hear for everyone. And I think that there better be a more serious creative tool, where ppl discover each others work. For instance, I can make available different sound clips and indicate which one I want to have f...

SA16-Chorus in the shop
Wonderful to see new RE-developers in the shop. I think the RE market might develop into something very special if only the Props are able to make ppl stay and new to come. My only problem with the design is actually that the text is so tiny, and that is for many REs, as the REs in the rack are not ...

Upfront vocals. (need help)
Type of mic, it´s placement, angle/distance, parallel processing, side-chain ducking etc. Although it´s science, the only one to trust is the ears. Same mic can bring in different kind of sound only depending on tiny adjustments and depending on levels in the pre-amp and the audio interface etc. And...

Nice! It´s so handy to pick a RE-instrument like this, than digging around in old Refills. And those instruments is something neighbours would not like me to play late in the evening. Welcomed indeed.
