Re: RE download failed.
Probably everyone of you got a GDPR notification mail by Props. I just had a look at my account (you can access that page at the bottom of the email on 'Update profile') and have seen that the variable AccountType is 'Unknown'. Just though that this is kinda strange, so if some of you could have a l...

Re: RE download failed.
same here. Reason 10.1, Windows 10
I just wanted to sync my REs just after buying Nostromo and shit's going on. Some apparently untrustworthy Reasoneers recommended deleting the Rack Extensions folder and reinstalling Authorizer. No I sit here with no Rack Extensions!
Please Props fix that

Re: Happy accidents
Sometimes I just play around with some ideas when I'm stoned as fuck. A few months ago I was twisting some knobs on a Europa Instance for like maybe 3 minutes and I was so confused why I couldn't notice any difference until I had a clear moment of thinking and I realised I was on the wrong device. I...

Re: Time selection
To archive this by Ctrl+D set the snap mode to 'Bar'. Really? :o Thanks! I never would have though this might be relevant, because I don't think it makes any difference to how the selection looks like (visually, in the GUI), right? Also I think if 4th clip ended within 3rd bar and I'd like to still...

Re: Reason's F9 Is still not taken, so...
Reason had huge potential for a ableton-style session matrix view.
I always liked the idea of 'press to play'-clips with some options like for example looping.
And with Props awesome Remode SDK it would be a dream for everyone to set up any controller as a clip launcher ^^

Re: Redrum pads need 1-127 velocity
If you are interested: I use one Matrix Sequencer per Redrum Channel. Linked via CV to trigger. Like this I have a velocity range of 1 - 127 and more important: 32 separate patterns per channel. Mostly my redrum channels are empty. I don't even route any audio signals from it. Each channel triggers...

Re: View midi from multiple (selected) tracks
This has been discussed so many times on ReasonTalk.
That's a feature I think all users of Reason whould love.
Let's hope one of the Props will come to this idea too, because they never seemed to care about this forum.

Re: Any MS Stereo Mic Recommendation
You sound new to M/S . A L/R signal can easily be reconfigured to M/S. See: Red Rock Sound's Utility. or ScuzzyEye. If course a R/L signal can easily be reconfigured to a M/S signal but don't think that this has the same result as recording with M/S. Im interested what other options you believe are...

Re: Any MS Stereo Mic Recommendation
Sounds like you need a mixer - not m/s. I have the yeti. It is stereo xlr. Can't get more stereo than that. You'll need to plug it into a mixer... That's what the H6 is! - as well as a microphone. ... So you avoid the mixer.... and/or the computer noise..... Oh, well,,,, 'Bout $250 and sounds swell...

Re: Any MS Stereo Mic Recommendation
Thx guys for your replies, those are indeed pretty awesome microphones. But I am mostly interested in microphone with XLR output (or at least 6.35 Jack). I don't need devices with SD cards or stuff like that.

Re: Adding points to audio level track?
you can adjust the level of every slice. or if you want to automate the level, use device (for example a line mixer) as Loque said before routing the signal to the mixchannel. It is not a good idea to automate the level fader of the mix channel because yeah you need that one to mix and you will adju...

Re: sequencer's MIDI to Gate/CV
Is there a way to "extract" information - in a form of CV/Gate signal - that a MIDI note on one track was played and pass it to a different track? * Some devices - like Kong, Redrum and obviously the sequencers, like: RPG-8 and Matrix or Korde from Lectric Panda - have CV/Gate outs, but those conne...

Re: 144 HZ
If you set your monitor to 144hz then Reason will also update at that rate. So you will get the benefit of smoother text and graphics. The exceptions will be any animations like cable animations, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes etc etc those will update at a lower rate to give priority to Audio t...

Re: Input and Output gain for all VSTs and REs
Certain VSTs and REs (especially distortion/saturation ones) introduce a big volume increase without an internal way to turn it down afterwards. I am using a Selig Gain afterwards to compensate (and you can use the MClass Maximizer or Compressor as a clean volume knob too), but it would be nice if ...

sorry guys for you making a drama about it. it wrote too fast.
to be clear: i'm talking about 144 frames per second to get the smooth smoothness of my 144hz monitors.
that's it. not that hard
