Actual Reason real life limitations:

There are still some graphical glitches to be sure, but I can live with that as long as the software performs.

I agree with the above assessment that it's a disaster.

It's so bad it should be taught in schools as an example of how to destroy an impeccable reputation for quality with a single release.

I take no enjoyment from using Reason anymore, so I have pretty much stopped making music.

I agree VST3 should be the most immediate focus, as mentioned it is a DAW update and the most pressing one IMO.

There wasn't anything mentioned about a delay efffect that I have seen. Maybe somebody combined in their head the idea of a new effect along with the delay of new features? Lol

I don’t think RS are that quiet. This forum, however, is as quiet as I can ever remember it being.

That was the beta version of the companion BTW. Reverting to the stable 1.86 solved the problem.

Voila, it can no longer see my R+ sound packs, and the RE sync all features seem wrong as well.

Way ahead of you. However the refund policy as stated above will be used against you.

I don't mind floating windows for synth tweaking but while mixing I move more quickly from device to device thus making floating windows annoying again.
Unfortunately RE mixing options are unsatisfactory. If we had everything from Waves in RE format it would certainly help, but that will never happen.

Oh stop beating on the poor guy :cool: Just to let ya’ll know. I managed to finish my beat today on freezy old R12.2.4 and it’s hella sick Glad to hear it. I've found it helps to add devices from the right-click menu instead of dragging. It's hard to remember that when you're in the flow though.

It's not just you, just read back through this tread.

I though I was the only one with rack freeze when dragging new devices, "happy" to hear I'm not.
Please report it if you haven't, it's a really debilitating bug.
