What is that secondary display with the racks? That is very cool. :)
It is an ASUS PB298Q. Pretty reasonable price.

Re: Ok Px7 or FM4?

I would not recommend Zero for FM. The reason is the FM knobs are way to sensitive and therefore super aggressive- A workaround is to use the modifier knobs and the routing table, but it is limited and inconvenient. If you want to use only one carrier and one operator it is fine, but when using mor...

Re: Best Stereo Bus Compressor?

For me C1-L1 is the best master compressor, also would be a good bus and chanel compressor if it were lighter to dsp. It needs quite a bit of CPU.

Re: Missing Features Part #2098

Ok, maybe I am wrong. But especially with Adobe products sometimes I have the feeling that they intentionally hold back features and then justify a new release with stuff you would expect to programm in a day, but yeah I might be wrong. By the way a lot of opensource is almost or is as good as propr...

Re: Missing Features Part #2098

You can look at this that way: If we would not have capitalism but an economy that is determined by demand, we would have the perfect DAW. Imagine all audio companies would work together and would not hold features back because of more profit. The more socialism the better DAWs? :)

I blame you two guys that they implemented these two features that I do not need instead of implementing some stuff that I want. Shame on you. Shame on you.

RM-1 Amplitude Modulation

Someone who knows Amplitude Modulation knows that if a sine carrier with 100Hz is amplitude modulated with another 100Hz sine, the frequency output is 100Hz and 200Hz (and 0Hz). That is also the output if you use AM on Thor. If I do the same with RM-1 though (AM switch on), input a 100Hz sine and a ...

Re: REASON 9.5/10 FEATURE REQUESTS

I think Reason 10 will be not what you are expecting. Have a look again at the new player devices. Do they look familiar? Yes, Teenage Engineering. Teenage Engineering will be teaming up with Proppelerhead and we will have a new DAW/Hardware Combo that will write history.

Re: DVC-1 is in the shop

I totally love such geeky devices. Even though similiar tools already exist (The Chronologist), this is all in one box for a super fair price. And the design is also nice. Ohhhh, this thing just gives me goosebumps, those tools can be very powerful. And last but no least: we should support new devel...

Re: REASON 9 May have been announced early !?

I like all these new features even though the most things you can already do with REs, but sure it is better to have it integrated directly into the sequencer. But come on, where is the track freezing, seriously? Some REs are so CPU demanding that it needs something like this. A great plus of Reason...

Re: Necessary Computer Specs to Avoid Overwhelming CPU

Have a look on your Sample Buffer Size in the settings, probabilly you already know that you can have more power in trade for latency. I have a 2.2 i7 and struggling in ever song due to REs. I am really hoping that in Reason 9 they either find a way to reduce CPU or that they implement a freeze func...

I tried the first few games and I like it, but in some of their training videos they have excess sibilance which makes me wonder how this can happen if they offer ear training?

Re: Analogue sequencing in Reason

Mercury 4 is what you are looking for. https://shop.propellerheads.se/product/mercury-4-voice-polyphonic-arpeggiator/ There are other REs that do it too. With stock devices it works exactly how you described: Multiple matrix and MoPol. The reason it does not work with ABL2 is because this synth is m...

One that has not been mentioned: FM4 is based on the Yamaha TX-81Z. https://www.gearslutz.com/board/attachments/electronic-music-instruments-electronic-music-production/368726d1382622774-lately-bass-possible-dx7-tx81z-operator-waveforms.png http://musicappblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/fm4-wave...

Re: Kick Stagnation

Most of the time I start with samples from classic drum machines (this one is a good deal: http://www.jiggery-pokery.com/kok.html), sometimes layering with a tambourine, percussion, noise or hi-hat and then process it. The processing can sometimes be very mild and sometimes massive. There can be EQ,...

Re: browse samples in redrum, go to same folder

It is still inconventient but you can click on the folder icon of one Redrum track you already assigned the "correct" samplefolder to. So your browser is in the folder you want and you can now drag & drop samples to the other Redrum tracks.
