Parsec? ;)
Haha, I just went back and looked, I had it confused with Zero. I must admit, I really enjoy the way Hydronexius looks. Any comments on if this synth is a "go-to" for anyone?

If the Hydronexius sale is any indication, it looks like the May Madness sale will start the 20th :-D

Though not an RE - Any Opinions of IRIS 2?

I am writing here as this seems to be the most "alive" forum, anyone have any experience with IRIS 2? It is currently on sale for $49 for the next 14 minutes at http://www.musiciansfriend.com/stupid?src=3TP6EDA and so I figured I would ask if it is worth it?

There is currently a sale for the next 25 minutes for IRIS 2 for $49 at http://www.musiciansfriend.com/stupid?src=3TP6EDA. Is it worth picking up at this price?

Re: Blackpole Station Polyphonic Synthesizer in the shop

I am curious, turn2on, will this synth be included in the upcoming May sale? It has always caught my eye, I really like the interface of it, and while I don't think $19 is not trying to break any banks, my budget doesn't currently allow for some new rack eye candy.

A lot of support from you guys! It feels good when you've put a lot of work in making it. :) My philosophy is simple; Build something you love and would like to use yourself. Question: Because of my lack of knowledge of the limitations of IDE-based REs, please pardon my ignorance - Is it possible t...

Re: Roland Juno 106 RE

On the note of those Boutique series - How well does it stand up to the original? Obviously it is missing a good chunk of things that the original had, but do they come even close to sounding like the real thing; or do you find them to be Roland's attempt to make a "tribute" to their former synths a...

Re: 3 New Softphonics Refills coming in May

Hey there and good morning (where I am at at least, haha), I've got a quick question! Will these refills be made available in a USD/Euro format like many companies are doing, or will USD have to pay twice for the refills? Congrats on the release, I look forward to hearing back! Re: Roland Juno 106 RE

Turning it into an RE would require a "whole load of different red tape issues" is what was said previously... Red Tape = a much higher cost to end users. So in these cases Im perfectly fine with refills. I bought the Juno refill this morning and it sounds exactly the same as the real thing! So I'm...

Re: Roland Juno 106 RE

thanks for the info. i prefer refills over RE's anyday but that's just me. Really? I mean, don't get me wrong, I think that Bitley's Fairlight Platinum refill is one of the greatest refills of all time, but an RE typically gives you so much more control/flexibility and is not a sample library (and ...

Re: JPS Harmonic Synthesizer in the shop. $79 US

I have to complain about the ginormous CPU-load of this soft synth. JP UP YOUR GAME. A synth that maxes out cpu with one instance at 44.1khz on a 8 core MAC!!!! Take some course on parallel programming please. Frustrating because it sounds really nice. I am not a RE dev, but i think a RE dev caanot...

Re: BOOM 808 Percussion Synth - Does it suck?

I think reviews should be required when rating. I completely agree. But then again, I also think that reviews should be required when rating things period, high or low. I also completely believe that there should be a mechanism in place that shows how many votes have been casted as well. To me a de...

BOOM 808 Percussion Synth - Does it suck?

I guess I will make my question as blunt and to the point as possible - Does this RE suck? I know when it released people were not too impressed with it, but I saw that it is now at version 1.0.3 and was curious if anyone had any thought on it? It has a very low score in the shop as well, so I was c...

Re: Crapre 2

I think there's a fine line between listening to customers opinions/suggestions and staying true to the developers vision for a product. I am not really sure that the line is that thin in this case. Virtually every other function on this RE can either be turned up/down or simply turned off/on. Ther...

Re: Crapre 2

Why bother making an entire new one when all they would need to do is make a knob that controls how much "hiss" this RE makes? Simple solution, simple fix. I would much prefer that Peff makes the RE we all bought more usable than make us buy another RE that does the same thing with one added function.

Re: Crapre 2

That is highly unlikely to happen, Yonatan, as the first CrapRE never got an update, I doubt this one ever will, and I doubt they would spend the time to make this anything but a "crappy" RE. The devs get to hide the flaws of their RE as a "well, we said it was crap" kind of deal. This RE has seriou...
