Re: Synapse complete your bundle is here.
I've had my eye on The Legend for a while, so I think I'll go for this (already have DR-1 and Antidote). But I would prefer the VST.. oh well. You can email Synapse support with a screenshot of your Reason Studios' receipt email of the bundle attached and they will forward you a code for The Legend...

Re: Reason 11 and Balance as Ignition Key ( part 2 )
Nice to see someone admit to getting a Balance as a present from Propellerhead in the previous thread. I was pretty confident at the time that Jiggery, Enoch and the other guy who did the countdown to some event using the numbers of various hardware synths (I can't remember his PUF name) got one for...

Re: Announcing the UJAM / ReasonTalk Virtual Bassist Competition!
So Grumbleweed came out of hibernation and made this using the Rowdy bass, some VSTs, an Ibanez and a Line 6 guitars and a Loopmaster female techno vocal that got twisted into a male rock vocal!!! Made nice and short so not to outstay their welcome  https://soundcloud.com/grumbleweed/animal htt...

Re: Reason 10.3 takes ages to open.
So today is a new day and on this day Reason opened much better! No changes made by me but the time difference between clicking on the Reason icon and the splash screen for logging on (due to RE trail) coming up was huge. Today it was almost instant and then less than 50 seconds to be ready to go. I...

Just to say that Waves plugins can be seen in 10.3 - I had no problems at all.
Reason still takes too long to load though

Re: Reason 10.3 takes ages to open.
A couple of "asides": here: 1. Waves stuff just seemed to cause all sorts of probs for me so I deleted and will never install their stuff again. 2. Grum, I know you were a big Sonar user, but see you've jumped to Cubase. I'm still using Splat under it's new guise as Cakewalk by Bandlab and still lo...

Re: Reason 10.3 takes ages to open.
Don't know if this will help in your situation, but do you have any Waves plugins? I've encountered sudden slow starup times with Reason, and each time, it turned out new updates were available for one or more of my Waves plugins. Running Waves Central and applying the latest updates restored Reaso...

Reason 10.3 takes ages to open.
I don't know if this is a common problem but I'm shocked at the time it takes for 10.3 to boot up. The previous version was pretty slow on my PC but, dear lord, this is ridiculous. I reckon it took about 2 minutes yesterday. The problem is there is no indication of activity, with Cubase I see what i...

Re: AKAI MPK249/61 honest opinions!
I know the horse has bolted but reading this and having recently bought a 249 I have to say I wished I had tried it before I bought it. The bells and whistles are really good but the all important keys are just too stiff to play with any kind of control. I retired my M-Audio Axiom 49 to get a new c...

(Techno) My first video....ever!
Hi folks. Though I've done some of the RE competitions I've never posted in this forum before (shame on me!). This track was constructed in Cubase 9.5, which I've recently started using due to Gibson dropping Sonar, and features a three track Humana vocal (from Reason 10 obviously). I also used Reas...

Re: Too long of a boot time
I find Reason takes the pee a bit when booting up (due to scanning VSTs) but nothing like that amount of time. I noticed with Cubase that the first boot up of the day has a fair pause at the VST scan stage but if it is later closed and opened again it flies through the loading process. Reason is jus...

Re: Reason 10 - Why no reviews?
There's a long tradition in Reason of the .5 or .X update being as big or a bigger deal than the full update. A tick-tock system, ish. Certainly it's always worth taking a gamble on the future point updates even if the full update doesn't impress you much, like Shania Twain. I'm waiting to see what...

Up front the article states that they haven't covered Reason in-depth for a while, hence the inclusion of 9 and 9.5 features.... Point is, Reason 10 has coverage in 3 major publications, Future Music, Computer Music and Music Tech. So the notion that it has no coverage is completely off the mark, w...
