Make sure your motherboard has M2 slots for SSD and get the M2 SSD installed into the build if not already off the shelf.

I have same issue with Harrison Mixbus, so I simply put the left locator 1 beat before the song starts. Issue is more noticeable when the mastering buss plugins are higher latency.

Make reason Rack Plugin work as a VST 2. Currently it only works as a VST3 isn't it ? Therefore I cant use it in Harrison Mixbus32C.

You're talkin bout MIDI right ? Did you try Undo the top take. Or, to begin with, create a separate note lane for new takes. Theres probably an inbuilt way - there is for audio (to do with 'comping' multiple takes)

A Neve modelled mixer (alternative to SSL). Also the option to make these mixers full circuit level emulations so we get the analog sound (similarto Harrision Mixbus 32C). This would obviously use more CPU DSP so needs to be able to be turned off.

Interchangeable mixer eg Neve to swap in place the SSL, a DSP box and a mixer/controller.

I haven't tried the full start a song from scratch in Mixbus32C - but for importing bounced tracks out of Reason the workflow is straight forward enough, although I have a few tips to make it smoother if you need.
