Re: StringWERK new RE
It's ok, and nice to see a company that has worked in Kontakt for so long in the rack.. but honestly there is refills that are better & bigger than this.. and less than half the price, I suppose there is people who really want everything to be RE now and kill off refills, so this is right up their s...

Re: Heavyocity AEON Now available for Reason
I do agree with everything you say here and Im totally against rating down instruments without careful consideration. And looking at the Kontakt version of this, the RE already has more connections... The connections argument is a rather silly one though on both sides. Yes Reason has the...

Re: Heavyocity AEON Now available for Reason
I think what one person finds amazing another can find not so, It's an individual needs thing... But what I do have issue with is.. If an RE is not for you, especially a sound emitting one like a synth or a IDT , (which divide peoples opinion more-so) and you have tried it and tossed it to the side,...

Ujam, The people who write the SDK for building RE's had a special role in this one, Emulating their Kontakt UI's must have been an essential contract maker...Nirude wrote:If the makers of AEON are online, I have a message for them:

Re: Heavyocity AEON Now available for Reason
I don't want to be THAT guy, but... Trialing Organic, since I have already enough synth stuff. Seems there is no way to actual combine the source material that those "patches" are made of? I thought you could load switch sounds inside the channels and use the engine to build your custom sounds as w...

Re: Heavyocity AEON Now available for Reason
on the other hand, there's something like ProjectSAM which charged $140 for 6 instruments (which might end up as one of my biggest "regrets" if this thing sounds comparable). I wouldn't put these guys in the "taking advantage" pile, but I'm sure they upcharge the Reason market purely because Reason...

Re: Heavyocity AEON Now available for Reason
Plus & Minus I suppose It is great that they are giving reason a shot, I do like what they do.. My issue though is that I get most their stuff bundled into other things I buy including Komplete ultimate. And for that Im grateful to them.. But you wonder do these newer to reason big developers charge...

Re: Roland Juno 106 RE
I'll definitely consider it, I have all of Bitley's refills and enjoy each one of them greatly, so I know what a Refill can do. But I would certainly not mind spending $50-99 for an RE version of the Juno 106, just as I do not mind spending $50 for a Korg Mono/Poly. Simply put, there are certain th...

Re: Roland Juno 106 RE
Turning it into an RE would require a "whole load of different red tape issues" is what was said previously... Red Tape = a much higher cost to end users. So in these cases Im perfectly fine with refills. I bought the Juno refill this morning and it sounds exactly the same as the real thing! So I'm ...

if the ReFills are using 24-bit samples rather than 16-bit, then all you're doing is offering a product that is much larger than it needs to be. [/quote] Note to self, don't support Jiggery P from now on. jees.. Talk about negative I picked up these refills a few hours ago on the softphonics websit...

Sampling is not inflexible at all when done right. Yes I totally agree Bitley, I think people are getting to caught up in the wrong aspects of this. Anyone who develops for the product we all use & love "reason".. they should be supported / encouraged not showered with bad vibes... Such a pity peop...

I had heard something quite different; that devs had left because they were no longer actively working on rack extensions until the SDK improved to include essential features that are still lacking. If they were getting heat on the board I would think that the mods would have shut that trash talk d...

My thoughts ..(and I think everyone is guilty of this at some point [even me]).. are that the internet is a safe place. We are at home or wherever, with no inhibitions or real consequence to our words and actions on the internet so it's too easy for people to be cruel, degrading, and heartless. As ...

Hi all, If more developers came back and joined in the discussion here would people be happy with that? Because I know a few who have mentioned it and I personally think it would be great. The main hesitation seems to be that they left originally from being either bombarded, trolled or just harassed...

Picked it up today & Epic Beatre too for the orchestral drums Love it already. Awesome sound! Is Emboucher available to download yet? Beatre may be my next buy. I see more possibilities with this beyond traditional orchestra. I bought them at this link http://www.softphonics.com/embouchure-sale It ...
