I only use parsec for vocoding tbh. As a synth its not too great, but I would buy it again just as a vocoder. Used it a bunch for random bass destruction in the drops (i cant remember everything I used it on) in the song in my signature.
in summary, buy it

Re: Spectra is on the way mid 2016
Hi vhs. Still in beta. I'm in the last stages of fixing an aliasing issue. I'll be performing a regression test of the synth before getting the beta testers back on. Apologies for the delay. Because regression testing is going to occur I also thought about adding 1 or 2 enhancement requests that ca...

Re: (PsyTrance) HOVX - boobytrap
Its good, crisp and clean sounding, the synths all sit well together. I must say I agree, there isn't quite enough happening, maybe just chop up that typical psy bassline to add some variation or maybe some destroyed vocal sample. Some more sub bass would also elevate this a lot. Super solid job and...

Thank you for the answers!
I was really hoping for Harmor-esque additive resampling in reason. Luckily, I own Harmor, so totally different is also enticing. =)

Re: Spectra is on the way mid 2016
I am very curious about "sample loading" as it has a mono resynthesize input. Does this buffer reset when I close the song? Will the buffer remain in saved patches? Or is it more a vocoder a la parsec? Or is that a separate vocoder input and you can, in fact, also load sounds through a menu? Ill fin...

Re: Spiderman's "Electro" Voice? Approaches to Character Sound Design in Reason?
Appreciate the feedback guys! I do have bitspeek (got it in the May discount) but haven't messed with it much. I personally feel that with enough know-how, Reason would be the ideal platform for this type of production even though it's not specifically designed for it. I do feel I've a LOT to learn...

Re: (Edited) A Couple 120BPM Techno tracks
Nice work. Both songs are atmospheric and sound great. I didn't really notice the highs others spoke of but I may be slightly deaf at this point=). I would say, IMO, they are too long and they seem to flounder around a bit. good job, i look forward to future uploads.

This sounds fantastic and is much more feature rich than I would have expected. If it weren't for reason 9 coming soon I would probably pick this up today. Any chance for a song contest?

Sounds great, but yeah, tighten up the release on the sidechain maybe. I also listened to some of your other tracks and they're all solid. Great work.

Re: (Electronic? idk) Child's Play - Pale Male
Thanks for listening! Are you asking about that repetitive vocal-chant-thing or the sound at exactly 2:00? That vocal was chopped, stretched and passed through a pulverizer. Liberal squash and dirt, plus 34.5hz sine wave modulating level and spread. The sound at exactly 2:00 is actually a resynthesi...

Re: Etch Red question
Ah, ok. The signal path IS the knob. Each filter has an FM knob and an FM source selector(lfo1 or lfo2), independent of the trans-mod system.
edit: The independent FM knobs are between the freq and res knobs on either filter. The FM LFO switches are next to the filter Mode knobs.
