Laptop for using Reason Live
I am looking to buy a laptop for using reason live. Could anyone give me an idea of specs I would need? I am not looking to use extremely large project files, but I do need to use a few intruments/fx and audio tracks. I have an old laptop from about 6 years ago, but it cant use reason at all, its to...

Re: Props tutorial series returns: Deep House Drum Basics: Super Neat Beat Cheat Sheet Ep1
Good stuff. I would love to see some REGGAE drums being made, although I realise this isn't a very hipster genre these days, still, there are actually a very large amount of people in the reggae and dub scene who use reason. I would be interested to see how you might use the regroove templates and s...

Re: What are you watching at the moment? (possible spoilers)
Currently watching: Blindspot: pretty good so far, and its got Lady Sif in it ;) Minority report: also good so far(both shows just started). This one is based on the Tom Cruise film, so a pretty interesting premise. Quantico: only seen the pilot so far, but its cool. Lmitless: based on the film of t...

Is $9/euros the introduction price, or will it be $9 always?

Re: Sononics Revival & GSX On Sale!
Revival is a great synth, and not even just for organs.
Sadly, I dont have the time or patience to learn to program it, so I am forced to rely on presets or refills.

Thats a shame. Its almost exactly what I want for controlling Reason. Cant seem to find a better midi controller with those sorts of features.

Re: is Propellerhead dying?
P.S: The APC40 can only fully be used with Ableton I heard this. Is it true that the mixer channels on the apc40 are mapped to the same midi channel or something like that? Something prevents it from being usable to control the SSL in reason i was told. You or Adam or anyone else confirm this? I wo...

For someone claiming not to be racist, youre doing a pretty good job of it.Namahs Amrak wrote:I wasn't sure what 'Faroe's are', so had to look it up. Basically the slow, mentally challenged little brothers to Denmark. Kinda like New Zealand is to Australia.

Re: Atmegatron returns to stores 08/24/15
That looks fuckin dope, but I really don't need any new hardware synths ;P I dig it. I think it will be a great compliment to Reason with MIDI Out. I usually steer clear of any hardware that isn't analog (figuring that other, digital stuff should be possible to be done with software on my computer)...

The transport track in sequencer, whats it for?
So in the sequencer window there is a default transport" track whihch you cannot remove. I have never once used this, and would like a way to remove it, although im fairly sure there isnt one.
Besides that though, what is the actual purpose of this track? and does anyone find it useful for anything?

You can turn off blocks. I dont believe you can turn off the drop feature though.

Got this email as well. Now I really need to decide whether to wait till reason 9 or perhaps a black friday sale, or just bite the bullet now.

Yeah such a shame, this synth is a real unsung hero. Sadly the UI does make it harder for non-experts to program it, but the sounds it makes are brilliant.

For years I ignored blocks, but more recently I learnt how they work and now I use them in almost every song.
