My problem with Waves is having 2, 3, or 10 different versions of the same VST for various mono & stereo capability and slightly different features. especially horrid in Reason's new setup. ugh.

different VSTs will have different system requirements, but if you aren't using VSTs or delay compensation, I don't see any reason why R9.5 would require new specs versus R9.0. am I wrong?

they neeed to add a way to organize devices in Reason 10. it would be so much better to make a "Favorites" list, as well as manually organizing by type.

I also thought it may have been logging/slow CPU during the beta, and was pretty disappointed when it was still happening. and like you said, some other VSTs have very fast framerate. hmm. guess I'll be reporting it. thanks!

Roth Air has quickly become one of my favorite free VSTs. it's like a combination of exciter + high-end compressor to really bring out the smooth highs in any sound. and it's a super simple interface.

if I'm picking presets, I'll usually go to PX7 presets first for some classic sounds. but if I'm designing a patch from scratch, FM4 is way more intuitive.

maybe not the solution you're looking for, but I don't think anything beats automating the bypass switches and dry/wet knobs of effects units. I know other people love living inside the rack, but the sequencer is my best friend haha
