Re: R12+ subscription for existing owners.
Huh? That's 53.94 GBP for 6 months, which is equal to 67.75 USD for 6 months, vs. 99 USD for 12 months. Huh? £8.99 for 6 months is £8.99 for 6 months which is equivalent to $11.32 for 6 months Vs $99 for 12 months. Idk what you are on about, or where you got £53.94 from. Oh, GBP 8.99 sounded fishy ...

Re: Reason opens windowed, but never to full screen size
No, it doesn't. This is how my template is saved: ...and this is how it opens after launching Reason: I have to re-align the windows every time, also in saved projects. It definitely works on both mac and windows for me. I tested it briefly, and I think the issue is with side and corner snapped win...

Re: Reason opens windowed, but never to full screen size
It doesn't on Windows. Yes it does. The default templates are not maximized, but all my projects and my own templates open maximized, even across my three screens. You have to maximize a default template, save it, and replace the original template with the newly saved one. No, it doesn't. This is h...

Any info from UAD on whether or not they're working on Windows version?
I'd get the Pro bundle for $199 in a heartbeat!

Re: UAD Native Plugins
I believe the blurry UI is because it is the time it takes to connect to their server, once connected it unblurs. Turn your internet off, load a UAD plugin into a session and it will never unblur. As for sluggish UI, I haven't experienced this and everything seem quite snappy here. Browsing patches...

I bought this bundle last week (+ the free PolyMax they're offering at the moment): https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/81-Bundles/97-Various-Category/11895-Universal-Audio-Electronic-Music-Bundle?nosto=frontpage-nosto-1 They work great in Reason and sound very good, although I wouldn't go as fa...

Re: Would you like to see Linux version of Reason?
Whenever you see someone using an MPC or Korg Wavestate, remember that they are using a bog standard RT Linux on a bog standard ARM CPU you can buy for $50. Push 3 Standalone runs Ableton Live on a 13th gen Intel i3 and a bespoke Linux version, but that one costs $2k w/o Live license, so I guess it...

Re: Why are there only two CV inputs and outputs in Complex-1?
Complex-1, the semi-modular synthesizer released by Reason Studios, only has two CV inputs and two CV outputs. You would think that the flagship semi-modular synthesizer on a platform whose defining strength is advanced CV circuitry would take better advantage of Reason's strengths in CV modulation...

Re: Rebirth Emulation
I'd love to see ReBirth as a RE. Sure, there's combi patches available that replicate the devices and one can pretty easily build them from scratch, but there's something to be said to have it as a one, integrated, coherent, immediate device with pattern track support! Anyone know WHY they had to ab...

Re: Would you like to see Linux version of Reason?
...was that they actually re-wrote most of the legacy code? Nope, they'll have rewritten the bare minimum they needed to and nothing more, because they needed to release it. There will still be plenty of old code in there. You - and I - have no idea what they had to do and what they did. Sure there...

Re: Would you like to see Linux version of Reason?
I think it is vanishingly unlikely, ever. Look at how difficult it was for them to add hi-res graphics and M1 support and how many related bugs there were. Those tasks are trivial compared with porting a 20 year old code base to Linux. I doubt they would ever get their dev costs back. And I think i...

Re: Using blocks
Adam did a series of livestreams that are all available on his YT channel, where you can follow his process step by step. I moved to blocks-based composition completely after binging all his livestreams. I picked up numerous other useful techniques from those streams. I'd say his videos are the bes...

It's such a great feature :( Corrected that for you :puf_wink: :puf_bigsmile: Yes, it's 80% there! I'm basically missing 2 things: 1) It should be improved visually, i.e. more contrast - the block clips are s...

Channel EQ and Channel Dynamics visualization panels
I know that RS rarely updates their devices, but it would be awesome to have un-foldable visualization panels for devices like Channel EQ and Channel Dynamics, showing the impact of the effect. Yes, I'm aware we should be primarily (or only?) "use our ears", but sometimes - in imperfect monitoring c...

It would also be useful to have a knob/slider deciding the sensitivity of the detection algorithm, like in Mimic.

It would be nice for the pitch edit to be able to snap to scale like melodyne. Just implement that please and thank you :) Such a good and creative idea. If this is actually done, I look forward to seeing the results! :D Check Cubase, they already have it (since v13, I think). Frankly, I'd rather R...

Would you like to see Linux version of Reason?
I am aware that the chances of that happening anytime soon - if ever - are very slim, but would you want this to happen eventually? The music-production ecosystem on Linux is getting really strong, with Reaper, Bitwig, LMMS (FL clone), Ardour, Waveform and since v6.5 - Studio One; already present. I...

Re: R12+ subscription for existing owners.
Because now they have a disarray, maybe on purpose or not, but it makes the user hesitant about either model since one is missing elements that Reason+ has and the other is a subscription. Obviously that's on purpose! Why would anyone buy R+ if perpetual license got all the REs included in R+? And ...

Yeah you need to see if the updates in Reason 12 is worth the upgrade for you and if it is just wait until Black Friday or December-January. Which button did you push? +1 If you have that old computer still, just log back in and deactivate the iLok licenses. If not, you're going to have to contact each plugin developer to retrieve them. I needed ...
