Re: Noob volume question

Apart from the volume knob on the ID8, you could use the gain control at the top of the mixer strip.

No problems whatsoever here. Have you checked there's not some sort of block on modem or firewall?

Re: Here's on for solo monitor users - USB Foot pedal

3 monitor person myself, but I like your thinking! I really should make more use of the pedals I have for controlling software as well as instruments. I reckon it would be good for something you do often, the equivalent of switching the rack if you like. Or with a dual pedal setup, undo/redo in wha...

Here's on for solo monitor users - USB Foot pedal

I'm sure you can link mixer to the left, rack in the centre and sequencer on the right. And maybe get another pedal to switch fron and back of rack! :D

Re: Anyone have experience with Midas Venice used with Reason?

Reason was given in bundle with the mixer and it was rewired via firewire . Every single analog channel was seen and routed in Reason.. I planned to buy in the past. Aalright.. that was the Midas "F32" console with the Firewire integration on the surface.. Only saw that one once. Well in that case ...

Re: Anyone have experience with Midas Venice used with Reason?

Hm. It's wired to Pro Tools on a mac atm so it controls the tracks in PT. It has an ASIO-driver so should be usable in any software according to this video

Colour coding and moving tracks around in the sequencer to group them would make it a bit better, no?

OK, having some trouble replicating this! What increments do you use to lower/raise the volumes of upper and lower octave?

Reason 10 is everything that comes from today 'till Reason 11 pops up. I really think and hope all of those that have slacked Props off for a version 10 with no content will have to pick up their jaws along the way before we get to Reason 11. Just wanted to preempt all the whining.

I recommend squarespace too, easy to use and looks good. And the integration of elements like a shop etc is excellent.

Re: PH makes subscriptions?

Don't fret, it's all good  Yeah it's all good now, but if props go subscription on Reason I will be a sad panda. I don't think they'll ever go subscription only for Reason. They'd likely lose half their customer base instantly at such an event. Not many people are willing to buy a car ca...

Re: PH makes subscriptions?

I see your point now, but that's a bit of different discussion - is software reliable enough :-) For me subscription model for a DAW is definitely no-no, but it's just my opinion. Having that said I think it's a good idea for RE, you could use more as long as you can still buy them the "old" way. 1...

Ugh no more RE buys for me. I've spent over 1K on REs and if I have to pay a monthly Reason subscription in future to access my REs I will be beyond pissed.

Re: PH makes subscriptions?

I think it's a good way to get people going with Reason, for a small fee you can have access to all REs off the bat. Obviously, the smarter person will stop to think at some point that buying the REs outright is cheaper in the long run, so they'll maybe start saving up and buy what they have along t...

Re: PH makes subscriptions?

Just as long as Reason doesn't go down this road. Indeed, I want to own the tools I use, not rent them. Having access to a whole bunch of RE's isn't that appealing to me personally, I still havent tried all the stuff I got from the synthetic bundle a while back. But I dont mind this practice with R...
