Setting "Rec Source" from sequencer
It would be nice if there was the option to set a track, or multiple tracks as rec sources from the sequencer window, as opposed to having to open rack, unfold track (if folded) and click on the little button to select Rec Source. Would be quicker if i had the option to select from sequencer window,...

Re: This is how you push DAW envelope - Bitwig 3
I hear this works well to help with that particular issue :) http://energy-xt.com/rewire-vst.html [/quote] Rewire VST works really well. The only thing I was disapointed with was that you cant use VSTs when using it. Is rewire the same?.. Just meant a bunch of my combinator patches cant be used, but...

Re: This is how you push DAW envelope - Bitwig 3
I had bitwig since v1. Always wanted to upgrade it but with Reasons recent developments I went with that, as it is my main DAW. I mess around with bitwig a lot though and feel that if Props made the Reason sequencer a little like Bitwigs it would raise Reasons game so much. Bitwigs sequencer is exce...

Re: Bounce in place output delay..help
PDC is on? A VST or RE? What patch build up? So many questions... Ah, fair enough i prob should have been more specific. Ive seen it happen with various combinations of RE's and VSTs. Two most recent were bounced Redrum with factory soundbank multiband comp patch. Last night happened with thor runn...

Bounce in place output delay..help
Hello, I have noticed when I bounce in place there is a delay at the start of the bounced audio. I'm away from my comp but sure its like 2 ms, which obv put things out of sync. I zoom in, trim and pull back to bar, or alt I have been recording the track I want to bounce to an audio track as a work a...

Controller map for MK3 and Reason 10
Hello, Anyone know of a controller map for mk3 to control reason 10? I have used the midi learn function in Reason to map parameters to my mk3, however i am aware of the reTouch controller maps for previous Maschines and previous versions of Reason. Reason 10 is good, i seen in the video for the Pus...

Re: Should Propellerheads Reason 10 Upgrade be free?
No, that'd be ridiculous. Regardless of what you think of the offer, staff will have worked hard to produce the new synths, etc etc - they should be paid. You don't like the synths or style of the "content" update, then don't pay them for the stuff you don't want. When they release a point update wi...

Re: Are there any clues in the Reason 10 advert?
When I saw the Bobbies gone for coffee thing, then the Emma's gone for cables, and the stylization of the images etc, I just thought their marketing team was doing an appropriation of the current trendiness of music production, creativity etc. With the accessibility of technology these days it seems...

Anyone using Maschine Mk3 to control Reason?
Hey, Is there anyone using the new Maschine controller in reason? What are your experiences? Has anyone tried the old Retouch software for maschine and reason? I used it the other night briefly and had a mess around with assigning parameters to the hardware. Has anyone else come up with a good set u...

Re: Reason's poor cpu performance
I have been thinking about CPU a lot recently. My two music making tools are Maschine and Reason. I used primarily reason most of my life, but currently use Maschine a lot as I enjoy it. Anyway, I noticed recently how CPU heavy Maschine is. Comparing to Reason, Reason is sooo CPU efficient. I recent...

I think it has evolved stunningly though... really happy with how its went and where it is going. Any Maschine users here? The updates for THAT and the shenanigans from NI (with Jam as opposed to promised features from years ago) have been terrible

Re: POLL: How likely are you to dump your "other" DAW now that VST support is here?
I was considering moving to Bitwig but sooo happy i can now do what i had always really wanted, which was to use everything in Reason - which was the first ever music production prog i ever used (v2.0!! at college). I may keep my bitwig license incase props throw a curve ball an do something silly (...

As long as it remains as is in terms of business model, i.e no subscription nonsense. Its just my personal preference, but after such a massive improvement I would be wholly gutted to have to jump ship due to that. Not trying to start up that discussion again, just hope they never do it.

Your story is very similar to mine, though i never used FL and instead started with a very early copy of reason i got from a guy at college. Ahh. CheersScuzzyEye wrote: Because routing the audio generators directly to outputs is in conflict with routing them to internal effects. Kits make use of internal effect in different ways, so the audio routing has to be stored with the kit.
