Have a look at the manual on Redrum. It looks like you're plying in the wrong octave.

Having seen that, I just thought of another technique that I can implement with compressors I have. The idea is to ring-modulate the kick with itself or "square" it in order to get uni-polar "rectified" signal and then use it to ring-mod the ducking target.

I've been doing a VST3 makeover. All plugins updates or installs are vst3 only for me. While plugins don't take up a lot of space I figure the way to improve the workflow of any DAW is to avoid 1000+ plugins being scanned.
