Roland System-8. Because it sounds fantastic, it's super fun to program, it has a deep native S8 engine and fantastic Jupiter and Juno emulations. (The JX3P engine I'm not sold on). Love this synth. If I was able to choose one of each, it would be: hardware: System-8 Native-Reason: Europa - doesn't ...
Korg Arp Odyssey, Moog Sirin and Behringer Model D have no USB noise - they work perfectly and quietly. All the Roland Boutiques, System 8, TR-08 have terrible USB noise. The solution for me has been use USB for power only (via apple USB charger etc), analog audio thru mixer and DIN MIDI through MID...
Hi All, Cover version of a great track by Jarre. Bit of a mix between his original 1978 and the Concerts in China versions :) Roland JX-8P, System-8, D-05, TR-8 Korg Arp Odyssey Moog Sirin Behringer Model D Aly James VSDS-X (for snare and toms) Arranged and Processed using Reaper with Reasonstudios ...
I'm really happy with R12 too now I've upgraded (thanks for the sale Props, I mean ReasonStudios!) I like the fast browser search, and I like the hi-res UI. I'm running a 1440p monitor, and zoom at 120% or 140% is a big improvement for me. As I'm running RRP inside Reaper, I am enjoying the benefit ...
Oh - Harmonic minor - got a hit on some internet searches, and explained the variation. Apparently to make it 'smoother' and also (somehow) easier to sing!
The second part (from :54 in the video), I thought was D minor, but the chord progression is Dm - Bb - Gm - A. I thought Dminor scale had A minor as the v chord but this is a major. A or A7 is used way more often than Am. It is the most used three chord sequence of the vast majority of most trivial...
Hi all, Scratching my head after not finding an answer searching the internet, so asking you good people..... I'm creating a cover of Jean Michel Jarre's Equinoxe IV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpWNimba344 The first part of the track is in A minor. The second part (from :54 in the video), I tho...
Does anyone know if you can run R11 and R12 on the same (windows 10) PC? I'm now (finally) interested in upgrading but I collaborate with some folks who may not be. Thanks! Yes you can, except for the RRP which will be the version you installed most recently. Thanks! My collaborators are also upgra...
Finally pushed the button, and upgraded! First impressions good, I really like the updated search.
Less impressed with the HiRes graphics. It seems some graphics scale up very nicely and some (especially text) remain chunky and a bit fuzzy when zoomed in.
Gooey :) First there was CUI (Character user interface aka green screen), then GUI, then BUI (Browser User Interface) :D Really they're all forms of UI and you could argue they're all graphical! (pixel art anyone?) UX is different. User Experience is more than the user interface, it is the other ele...
It's hard to believe that the company has not gone out of business yet, it's only a matter of time. Why?? They are not vaporwavers... I'd never buy the field mixer at that price, but the idea is supercool.... I don't think Teenage Engineering will go out of business , per say... but an acquisition ...
Yes, I think there isn't enough consideration for CPU. 1. Reason 11 is much heavier on CPU compared to Reaper. I do not have any comparison though to other DAWs. 2. Render in Place is excellent in Reason, but it's not a proper track freeze. 3. You can't turn off Rack Extensions so they consume no CP...
Couldn't resist adding this to the discussion :puf_bigsmile: uno62screenshot.jpg https://forum.reasontalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=7526872 Bah - I’ll raise you one Softube Model 84 which is noticeably better than TAL’s offering. :puf_bigsmile: 6611C606-A385-476F-B74A-85848FE41119.png AD9CF17A-1483-...
