Re: Reason+ from a developer point of view

What's the general feeling on the direction here? Is there movement on the shop issue and RE integration with the sub and such? We're still supporting our REs and working on updates as always. R+ sub allows users basically to have the 'full kaboodle' for RS products at a subscription fee. If they e...

Good info here, we've got a function built into our right-click on Windows Explorer so it's way easier (check the section "How to Create Symbolic Links with a Graphical Tool")

Re: Audiogridder?

We use Virtualhere and install on our systems the same plugins, so we shouldn't have any issues with the software side of things. Virtualhere allows us to use our dongles remotely anywhere on the planet (we've paid for a no-ip dns which makes hunting our keys across the web easier). We cant use hard...

Ok quite surprisingly we got a TC Virus Powercore (jbridged) running through Audiogridder on our main maschine as a server and via a laptop client in another room, wireless mind and we were surprised by the initial booting up ofthe plugin controls and dsound - there was some lag though so if you eth...

Re: Audiogridder?

We've started to look into this since we a) use a NAS for our ilok, Codemeter key and USB-thumbdrive (for Waves) so we can plug in thee keys 'virtually' anywhere on the planet as long as the NAS is running well and b) we've still got a TC Powercore PCIe + X8 on our main system and want to test Audio...

Re: Using multiple track recording from mixer

No problem at all.... just another note - if you're after a controller, then Behringer's X-Touch is basically a Mackie MCU style mixer with X32 style scribble LCDs - we were tempted to get one of these as well, but we've got plenty of horsepower and can use the analog / digital section of the mixer ...

Re: Using multiple track recording from mixer

does mackie MCU protocol mean that this thing just works with reason for transport and fader/solo/mute automation control? i'm on the fence picking up an x32 and i havent seen a detailed account of how well it might integrate with the reason mixer when used as an audio interface. The X32 / Compact ...

Re: Using multiple track recording from mixer

Well, the X32 Compact landed, and damn what a desk! Very impressed with the size, connectivity, and routing options within the desk itself. Had to quieten the stock fan for starters (bit too noisy, fine for PA use as this desk is likely intended for that but in a home studio... ) Going to be linking...

Re: Using multiple track recording from mixer

Rebumping this thread. Been using a Mackie d8b digitally (24 ins and out via Motu 2408 mk3) and also analog to passive summer (2x 1224s + another 2408 mk3 used as a 8 channel patchbay for 4x hardware compressors and sidechains). Then alas the d8b gave up the ghost and faders locked up. That was 3 da...

That gives you 6.13 kHz (6130 Hz), so not quite.
And that's why Black Knight has this ability - we left the values as Hz only, no kHz conversion, so you can put in pure frequency values in if you wanted :D

Re: Is there a RE with a frequency-exact bandpass filter?

Black Knight can do this, you'll need to use the sequencer to type in the specific value you want (to 1 decimal place). When you hit the V1 button that allows you to have up to 5x filters of the same type too (so multiple BPFs if you wanted). You could also use 2 bands for a LPF and HPF, turn of the...

Re: BLACK KNIGHT v2 - in the shop!

Would be a free update for existing 2.0 users

Point updates (2.1, 2.2... to 2.9) would be free, and they are updates (minor fixes, slight enhancements)

Full upgrade (like BK v1 to v2) we would do an update fee

It's how we feel all upgrades and updates should be handled

Re: BLACK KNIGHT v2 - in the shop!

be useful to have a note to say that alt/shift to change resonance in the digital view only works if you are in V2 mode.... which is a minor quibble We've just checked this, and ALT+SHIFT+click-node-drag-up-and-down works in both V1 and V2 modes. However you have to be in one of the two display-scr...
