Hi,
Inspired by the work of nirude with thor I decided to do my own rack.
I decided tho start with one native rack unit that I love so much.
Here is the first step, the faceplate.

I didn't find any references of the knobs. So I modeled them as I interpretate from the actual unit.
If anyone knows what equipment has this kind of knobs, please let mme know.
Other than that, after I model the hole unit, I'm gonna start the paint job.

This looks awesome. When you're done, make sure you run some oil and dirt over it and leave it outside in a field for a few years. Gotta' have that authentic pulverized look!

Here some more updates, I didn't find the exact same font for the smaller type so I put one that went well.I got bored of modeling so I started texturing for a change.

I use 3dmax for modeling and octane render for rendering.

Right now I'm out of town. Have almost all the model finished. You'll see it in it's whole 3d glory in a short time when I get back home.
