What's your day job?
I run the NZ operation (software development centre) for a global customer care and billing solutions company.
Not really a day job, but also on the Board of Trustees at my kids' primary school

I don't have one. Too many physical issues (I can't stand for more than an hour, have much pain all over) Someone said Fibromyalgia might be it but the psycho doctor said that that means you need more exercise. So I joined a gym.
Meh.
Anyways, that's why I post too much. I need a drink now.......

1) Test Manager for "Head Units - Audio Mixing" at BMW.
Putting the filling of tons of Excel and other formal sheets aside, this job means lots of music and sound the whole day long, plus test-driving the newest vehicles, which can be quite exciting.
2) Single Parent
Exciting too, but in a different way.

One thing I've learned over the years is not to assume I'm in any sort of position to give advice. But if you're looking for a general rule of thumb, find a way to communicate and keep communicating. Oh and, as you know, music is great therapy for everyone.jonheal wrote:One of my sons has pretty severe cognitive issues ... among other things.pushedbutton wrote:Adults with Learning Disabilities.gak wrote:For what?pushedbutton wrote:Just wondering.
