You could record visuals generated by Milkdrop or use ProjectM.

Fruity Studio now has some of that stuff built in. Haven't tried it - would mean having to use FS - unghhhhhh

OR....

Hit Film Express and buy the add-on that has Audio to Animation thingee (there is a watermarked trial in the main download). Ultimately that gives you the most power to expand (unless you go all-in on Adobe After Effects).

I had another go with FS at the weekend. I'm sure there is some good stuff in there if I can only crack the code. I spent more time on YouTube than in FS just trying to do really basic stuff. I think it's a real skill making the UI that confusing.

It is special
In their defense (albeit a weak one) they started not as a DAW but a simple drum loop maker. It all then coagulated over time - which is where the wheels got sticky taped to the bonnet and the roof to the hubcaps.

I see FS as an amazing app, that went amazingly wrong - like Vader's Tie Fighter spinning off into space at the end of Ep IV. It works well for a very specific type I think and for that we are grateful (that they are not here :hihi:).
