To make sense of everything that apparently has none, to give a sound to everything I have inside at the end of the day. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Hmm, not completely sure to be honest. Had to think about this one. It's a bit of everything I guess. This is the best answer I can come up with at the moment.bxbrkrz wrote: ↑06 Aug 2020What about yourself?TritoneAddiction wrote: ↑03 Aug 2020What motivates you to create music?

One thing is I just find it interesting to see what will happen next. I almost never plan ahead what sort of song I'll make. I just start little musical ideas and then songs take off on their own.
Also I always feel a sense of pride whenever I've finished a track, doesn't matter whether it turns out (in my opinion) great or just ok.
The times I most enjoy creating music is when I feel like I've created something "unique". I mean sure, whatever we create there are always influences and things borrowed from other people. So nothing is ever truly unique, but you know what I mean. It's the way these influnces are put together to create something new. There are a few times when I've felt like I've accomplished this and those moments mean a lot to me.
I definitely write music to please myself. But of course it's always nice to get a little ego boost if someone else likes it too.
Yep so I think that was most of it.
