Is it wrong to tattoo your children?

My son fell off the playground equipment and hit his head on the ground pretty hard. Thankfully he is OK, but it left a pretty serious goose egg, causing the hair to fall out. Now he has a bald spot. I was taking a closer look at the shape of the bald spot, and it looked really familiar. Then it hit me; It's the shape of the old Propellerhead logo!

Needless to say we have an appointment with the tattoo artist in the morning.

It is wrong, but too many parents do that, in a figurative sense. Either way, most of the children are tattooed, just some choose their tattoo by themselves.

They've never too young for a spider web neck tattoo or dolphin tattoo. In fact some would say you're a bad parent if you don't at least offer.

hello,

i spent a summer working in a fish cannery in kenai alaska back in 1997
i was 21 at the time
these 2 younger kids made a home made tattoo gun
using a black ink pen, a D sized battery, a little motor with an offset gear, a needle, and some wires
and they were just inking stupid shit on their legs
it was very funny to watch
i think they were high on mushrooms that would grow in the woods where the cannery was

we had such fresh fish from that place
halibut and salmon mostly

I think it is completely wrong to tattoo your kids.
It's absolutely fine to tattoo other peoples' kids though. Tattoo kits can be had for peanuts on eBay and, with enough practice and enough kids, you might even get good. And if you don't, who cares? It's not like the kids are yours.
