Got any more info; dates, actors, plots, more than a few notes, instruments used, style/genre?

Do you remember anything else about the show? When you say old, do you mean the 90's or like the 60's?

Anyhow, not a perfect match but maybe? :

It's not ringing any bells. Can you remember what country it was from? Norway? US? UK?

Its from the 90s :) There was a female voice singing these notes I have in a opera`ish way. It was aired in Norway on the childrens television time around 18:00. Adabler, no its not that one.

Hehe. Unless it aired outside of Norway or had lots of repeats I fear the pool of forum users who can help may be quite small: Norwegians of a certain age step forward!

And now I want to visit Ireland again and more importantly know what makes certain chord progressions so gaelic.
:reason: Most recent track: resentment (synthwave) || Others: on my YouTube channel •ᴗ•

Aye.. ha ha. Can you imagine ...the lad in the video is probably in his 40's or 50's now. I confess i didn't bother googling it to find out who wrote the song but i'm guessing (whovever) is still living off the royalties to this day! Its used in the animation film 'The Snowman' The name Aled Jones sounds decidedly Welsh to me ..maybe .maybe not.
I'm still in denial about summer ending.

Well he was on Good Morning Britain a few years ago in the UK (Breakfast TV) as a co-host. He's about my age (43). This is a clip of him on the show that comes on after called Lorraine after he'd left.

And yes, "Walking in the Air" was famously off the Christmas cartoon film, "The Snowman", classic if you've not seen it. It's on a scene where the boy holds the snowmans hand and fly's off with him on a snowy landscape. It's guaranteed to be on every Christmas.

Howard released the song in the charts around the same time as The Snowman came out and many people (alot) believe Howard sang it in the film but it was in fact another choirboy at the time called Howard Blake.
