160 years ago, July 4, 1862, the original story was told on the river Isis, which later evolved into "Alice in Wonderland".

Every time I hear anything about Alice in Wonderland I am reminded that this absolutely crazy yet fascinating film version of the story by Jan Svankmajer exists!
Saw this years ago and was absolutely glued to the screen at the time and have seen it many times since

Yeh, an amazing film. I was in a band in the early 2000s that did a live soundtrack to it one time.... thanks for this, I'd really like to watch it again.

such a trippy thread
did mushrooms one summer in alaska while working at a fish cannery

downloaded the alice movie from youtube
will watch later tonight

perfect combination to smash up this alice movie with dante's inferno and the driving songs

i have an annotated version of alice in wonderland / very cool
it is underneath a bunch of other heavy books so i didn't want to pull it down
i am curious of the copyright / publication date

i love the classics in literature / film / music
