The "I don't care" thread

Ok...Lots of stuff comes from RS which seems get people's backs up so I figured it might be nice to have a thread RT members could come just to say that they personally couldn't care less.

I'll start it off...I'm Mr Figg and I don't care that Offline authorization will be discontinued for R11 and earlier.

Easy...maybe this'll help avoid fights on other threads.

I don’t care about 95% of what people complain about on here. I try real hard not to care about the complaining or to respond to it because it’s waste of time that could be spent actually using Reason or sleeping.

I like this thread though. Thanks for that!

I don't care about most of Reason's functionality deficits

A better sequencer (e.g. with markers) would be nice, but I don't really care

MIDI out from VSTs would be excellent, but it's no biggie

Track freeze would be handy, but meh whatever

Collapsible individual players would be cool, but I can't get worked up about it

etc

The only two things I ever really cared about were VST hosting and Apple silicon compatibility, and now I've got them. I suppose I'd care if Reason went subscription-only, but I'm not about to wet the bed over it unless/until it happens,. And I couldn't give two plump brown shits whether or not RS value my "loyalty" as a customer

I genuinely don’t care about any of it.
I have my work around. They mostly work.
The only thing I’d care about would be sub only and/or Reason just folding. But only a little.
I’m not sure I’d even care about that.

-I don't care about radio buttons and momentary buttons on reason combinators. Or Horizontal faders to save rack space.
-I don't care about collapsible player devices.
-I don't care if there's not a minimise all devices keyboard shortcut.
-I don't care for nestable combinators.
-I don't care for Rack device group folders,
Nor do i care for markers which instantly scroll the rack view to the device next to the marker.
-I don't care if there are no columns in RRP, nor do i care that there are column 1,2,3,4 etc buttons on top which scroll the rack to the selected column.
-I don't care about per-project-per-device instant midi controller mapping, instead of global mapping or Remote protocol. So that when that device is selected in the rack, my controller controls that device exactly as i had mapped it. But when another device is selected, my controller now controls that device as i had mapped it. In addition to the regular Remote protocol mappings.

I like the things Reason does.

I don’t care about the things Reason doesn’t do.

I don't care if Reason doesn't do things exactly the way Logic, Ableton, Cubase, FL Studios, Bitwig, goddamn Reaper, or whatever other software I don't use does them.

The older I get the longer the list of things I don’t care about gets.
That’s refreshing

It shure is brother, it shure is…….

I have that feeling too, and it shifts in other areas, growing old is not at all bad, as lang as one stays young in mind.

My quality of life has improved immeasurably since I stopped caring so much about what other people think of me

The trick to not caring what people think about you is to never do shit you disapprove of.

If you do do shit you disapprove of (bound to happen) then you have into immediately not give a shit about it. Before it sets in.
