What kind of screen for 400Eur?
Hello, I'm starting to save some cash for a new monitor (screen). My screen that I have atm could be bigger and the colors clearer. Also it would be nice if the angle to see the screen would be 180 grades. I could put about 400Euros to this. Any recommendations?
I don't really know what you can get for that price, but for 400 euros I'd rather buy two monitors.
If you are aiming for FullHD screen (wich may be old school now...?) get a 1920*1200 instead if 1920*1080.
My Samsung is really great anyway, they can make monitors.

I'm not going for the two-screen at this point, as... 1) I'm not working in this way 2) My desk can't have two monitors as it has not enough space.
All I want is a decent "best-buy" screen for 400 Eur.

I was the same. Only wanted a single display instead of having x2. I went for a 2K 32" model. Some nice options available these days. It's a good size display & gives me plenty of screen real estate for Reason without making things too small. Nice to have the extra space in general though. Resolution is 2560x1440.
You'll have the option of dual screens anyway - you'll still have your current monitor!
Rotate one of them into the vertical position so it doesn't take up as much desk space, and put the Rack on it. Then you can flip between the mixer and the sequencer on the other screen. Trust us, it's good.
Always get the biggest screen you can, although I tend to try to keep the resolution down. The big screen should be far enough away that you're not seeing pixels even at "old school" HD or 2K resolutions, and there is still plenty of software - including Reason - that displays better at those (relatively low in 2019) resolutions.
I do a bit of photography too, so that side of things is important to me too. Last time I went for the 1920x1200 Dell UltraSharp. I don't know if it's still in production - but Dell make good stuff. I like the 16x10 aspect ratio, but it is not very common.

Upgraded from 2x 23in 1080p displays and opted for a 48in 4K LCD TV. Now we have the equivalent of 4x 1080p without the bezels. And we're sitting same distance away from the screen compared to the 2x 23" monitors, so win-win, and cheaper too
