Imho ram > graphicscard.
For me personally, especially with laptops, low noise is key. Some cpu's get hotter than others. Same goes for gpu's, and maybe even hdd vs ssd. I'd try to optimize raw cpu power and minimize noise.

Yeah, additionally beefier GPUs use more resources and cause more overhead in the system. If its really just for audio the smallest GPU option will do. As for RAM, can't have enough of that ;)

For Reason I would take upgrades in this order: CPU, RAM, storage, graphics. Fast storage (SSD) is really nice, but if you use a lot of large REs, sample packs, or recorded audio, it'll fill up fast.

Your biggest challenge will be finding a system that is "audiocentric". Audio recording depends on not having its data stream interrupted, which is likely to occur on a system that has several usb ports share the same hub. If you can't find a system that allows you to connect your audio interface to a dedicated usb hub, you need connect as few usb devices as possible to reduce potential data stream interruptions. No external pointing device, no wifi, no screencasting, no bluetooth. It may be tempting to skimp on the video card, but keep in mind that looking at a pixelated screen for hours at a time is very hard on your eyes.
