Device interesting, but only 7 keys for 2 Synths & FM, 7 samples from panel? All other - needs in mobile / desktop software app control.
All synth engine settings also in the app.
Visual control of the bars - also in the app.
many things under the cut (App).

So, it's like a groove box with App editable core. Using this box possible without the App, as preset machine with simple sampler. Various feels, in the price of Elektron devices. For hardware, need in big brother version (double sized, but real control).

TO saved main control from the panel. In this product, we have big limitations (w/o app)

I'm pretty sure this will end up in a BadGear episode eventually.

It’s weird that Yamaha would come out with this rather than something more like their QY range. Fair enough TE have carved their own path of form over function but I don’t know why anyone would want to follow them down it.

That orange version. What's that about? Did they run out of orange? Was it a split decision by the design committee?

I mean... they're trying...

I’m liking this. Very powerful device. Looks very fun.
