This is rather divergent from another of your insightful posts and I hope you don't mind me pointing this out? But, I've noticed that you seem to have a problem with spelling the word 'what'. It does appear to be an intermittent problem as demonstrated by your delicately worded title, but thought I'd mention it in case you let the error occur in one of your more important documents.

Your good friend,
Tincture.

I find it amusing trying to get the right value by mouse. Especially when the mouse is on my piano top which is shaking a lot from the monitors...like a mini-game :D

Totally get this complaint and agree. In case you didn't know, you can adjust the sensitivity to movements in the preferences sections. Also, holding shift while adjusting a dial or slider allows you to move in smaller increments. Hopefully that gets you closer to what you want.

with shift the closest i can get is -.4 with the M-class maximizer. I'll check out the sensitivity option in the preferences now. thanks for the tip
