Nothing, I am always broke when it's black friday - because my income comes at the beginning a month. But I don't care to buy new REs anyway - I pretty much have got all I need already.

This is the first year in a long time I can remember not buying anything! For Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales the Props have great discounts. Other developers are giving the same sales you can get during the summer, etc.. Not enough of a monetary incentive for me to click the buy button.

$73 for MonoPoly, Flower Audio Loudness Meter, and Kratos 2. Still have to spend more time diving into Kratos' functionality, but I'm already super pleased with MonoPoly and Loudness Meter.

I got Pump because it's dope. Then I got VK-1 synth because I wanted to complete my Blamsoft collection

I already feel like I got my $58 worth just in the 2 days I have had polymodular system and futzbox.
I am really feeling good about these purchases. also, there are some fantastic tutorials on the blamsoft website that helps you get a feel for how the system works...brandon does a great job with those videos!
edit - I would have bought the new chord re too, but the limitations of not being able to print the chords to track is keeping me from snagging it.

Nothing.
I tried Devastor since I've heard great things about it, but I just didn't click with it.
In the end I got better results with RPDistort when I compared the two.

You forgot to tick the "over 500" option...Electric-Metal wrote:Too much, way too much is all I say
I started buying RE's in early 2015. Initially, I only acquired a few, but as time went on I found myself accumulating more and more of them, and finally the dam burst wide open this Black Friday, when I purchased 29 of the little varmints.
Not counting freebies, I now own 71 paid REs (and I still want more ) This is all fine, but I never bothered to add up how much money I actually spent on them. Taken individually, most REs don't cost that much, so how big of a dent in my finances could they really make? Well, I decided to find out. I threw all my REs into a spreadsheet and got a sobering revelation.
It turns out, I've spent a total of $1,840 on all my REs. The vast majority of these were bought during sales. Had I paid full price, the total would've been $3,297. So thank goodness for sales
I don't regret spending that money at all, and I would say it's a fairly reasonable price to pay over two years for quality audio tools. And I'm especially glad the Props have a revenue stream that isn't entirely dependent on Reason sales, and that third party developers can get a slice of the pie. Hopefully, the developer revenues are enough of an incentive for them to keep making more great REs.
Many thanks to all the developers who gave us such great sale prices this holiday season!
