Reason 9.5 beta testing
Does anybody knows when and how will the beta testing be available, for us that just entered email when asked if we would like to beta test?
I'm refreshing my inbox every 2 second and it's not good for my soul.
thanks

I'm pretty sure they will do like the did with the last beta test.

Got the email and installed it. Works great...few error messages, but nothing that prevents me to enjoy it.
I'm kinda crying.

I suppose it is now my turn to keep refreshing my email
Is it possible to install the beta separate from the original 9.2 version?
Just signed up
Reason 10.4 | 2.2.4 | Ableton Live Suite 10.1| MPC Software 1.9.6 | Photoshop CC 2019 | Novation Impulse 49 | Nektar Impact LX 49
I'm not sure on Windows but on Mac I just change the name of the 9.2 folder to something like Reason Stable.....riemac wrote:Is it possible to install the beta separate from the original 9.2 version?
Just to clarify...
Windows
Download the latest build available in a zip file from the Downloads page
Unzip
Run the Install Reason Beta.exe file
Follow the steps in the installation assistant. The test build is distributed in an auto-update channel called PublicTersting and will not overwrite your current Reason or its Preferences.
Launch the Reason PublicTesting build
When launched, please auto-update to the latest build if there is one available.
Mac
Download the latest build available in a .dmg (disk image) file from the Downloads page
Open the .dmg file
Drag the Reason folder from the disk image to the Applications folder
Launch the Reason PublicTesting build
When launched, please auto-update to the latest build if there is one available.
Note: Installing Reason 9.5 Beta is in a different "channel" and will not affect your current Reason 9 installation - you can safely keep both versions on the same computer.

I broke the refresh button on my email. lol How are those who have it using it?
To testers who are in, I'm just curious to know when y'all signed up. =)
I signed the moment I saw the news on prop page...Around 11 a.m., got the mail three or four hours later.
I'm in a +1hour zone.
I have to say it' pretty unstable here. Getting this message quite often.
Common\VectoredExceptionHandling.cpp(77); ASSERT failure
ThereWasAHardwareExceptionNOTin45
Hale execution of program?
Abort? Retry? Ignore?
I press Ignore and sometimes it crashes, sometimes it just continues to work.
If I press on another window outside Reason(firefox for example), the message pops up again.
I noticed there's no undo when I make random pattern with matrix for example, but I see now that's the case with every move I make.
Some crashes on scanning vst's.
And noticed waves plugins just make a white snapshot.
But UAD's are working great and a delay compensation with it also.
SonicCharge plug's are working fine and multi out from Microtonic works great.
So far so good, if there wasn't that horrible message popping all over the place.

Hmm, that does sound strange. =/ What all are you running?

How is that done? Do you have to manually create a new mixer channel for every Microtonic out or is it automatic like in Bitwig if you've ever tried it?mataya wrote:SonicCharge plug's are working fine and multi out from Microtonic works great.

This may test your patience. When I signed up for R9 Beta test last year, I had to wait for almost 2 weeks till I've received the confirmation.syrokitty wrote:I signed up 7.5 hours ago. -nod-

The question is - Who cares
I hear you. -nod- I dealt with the same thing then, but figured I got in way earlier this time than I did then, so idk.Electric-Metal wrote:This may test your patience. Both the stereo and multi should populate in the instrument browser. Once you choose multi, all that should be left to do is drag out 8 mixer channels and connect.Wook wrote:How is that done? That said, I've not been granted access to the beta yet, so I could be wrong. -shrug-

Open a multi out version of microtonic and create 8 mixer channels and route each of the 8 outs form microtonic rack to them...works great.
Yes, you can also create a 14:2 mixer and route it trough it.
I like the first way better.
Pozdrav surodnjače
