Hi Tomba,
I am on a mid 2016 MacBook Air with I5. It works okay as long as the projects are not too heavy. I really like my MacBook much more than my Surface 3 pro.
As I have only a 256Gb SSD I have add a 128GB USB-Stick and a 128GB SD-Card for Loops and Refills

The next one will have a I7 processor.

I have the i7 Air and it's a great computer. A few issues still with Reason on macOS Sierra, but I'm still getting things done. I also run QLab and iZotope RX with no problems.
