R11 work with OSX 10.9.5?

Hi I am still on R8.3 thinking of updating to R11 however my IMac is getting on and I am running OSX 10.9.5 I have used plugins in the past that recommend higher and they still work, do you think I will get away with it for R11?

Will demo it when possible to check just wanted to see if you guys think it will be possible as I am pretty pumped about getting into it
