I'm running Reason 10 on a PC with Windows 10
I've got a song file that somehow got corrupted.
I was putting an acoustic guitar track on the other night
when all the instruments in the track went silent. When I tried
to save the track to a new name it hangs up and won't complete.
I tried taking all the tracks and copy/paste them into new song file
and I get an error message ; Can't copy file ; Read Error
I tried cleaning up all the tracks and eliminating what I could but I am stuck
I think I ran into this before and i identified the corrupted track erased and copy/pasted to a new empty Reason file and it worked but I had to redo that track.
Any advice will be appreciated
Thanks in advance
Can't copy file ; Read Error can't save to new location

If all else fails you could try this:
Of course you will lose the specific instruments you used-these will be replaced by ID8 Reason devices, but you will be able to salvage the MIDI data info:
Export song file as a MIDI file from the File menu (Export MIDI file)
Close down Reason
Restart your PC
Open Reason
Start a new blank song file
Import the MIDI file
You can then click browse on the patch name of the ID8 and then browse to the instrument device you want, and it will replace the ID8 device with the one you’ve selected onto the same MIDI track. You’ll need to do this for each track.
Good luck!
