Hi ReasonTalk Peep's
I have decided to remove RS 12 ' latest update because as you have already perhaps seen !
it will not run properly on my present system ' i5 intel / While your system meets the minimum requirements your CPU is barely making the recomended minimum of 4000 CPU Benchmark points.
But , Shit happens ' So i am going back to RS 11 ..... Truth is the biggest thing i will miss from RS12 is ........Drum roll......... MIMIC
Any way here is my question , [ IS IT SAFE TO DELETE THE RS12 SOUNDBANKS ] ?
I assume it will be ok' !? especially since Rs12 will not be present anymore ' but better to hear from other peep's init : Thanks Majestik Monkey.
RS 12.2.3 Removed . Question though ?

Yes, you can delete the Reason 12 soundbanks to save space - R11 doesn't need them and they'll just get reinstalled once you try R12 again when it's more stable!Majestik Monkey wrote: ↑29 Dec 2021Hi ReasonTalk Peep's

To get the RRP back you'll have to re-install Reason 11.

I would do clean removal and go back to 11. I still have 11 installed but I may just sink or swim with 12. I haven't done anything major in Reason to begin with.Majestik Monkey wrote: ↑29 Dec 2021By removing RS12 & Continuing on with RS11?

I think you should copy the Reason 11 VST and save it somewhere, because the next time you install R12 it'll overwrite again.
Hopefully, installing another R12 update should solve all your issues, but you may need to go back to the R11 RPP again if it doesn't.
